Mine too but for completeness you didn’t mention if you left the keyfob inside the vehicle (not in an RFID protected case) which is what the last few posts are about
True, I did not state that, but in about 25% of the time, the key is setting in a cup holder.

So my husband is having a hard time understanding this. So, let's say I drive my 2025 Bronco Sport to the gas station, leave the engine running and leave the fob in the vehicle, go in to buy something and or pay for gas. While in there the car will automatically lock?
no they will not automatically lock. I am not sure what it would do as I always have my keys in my pocket. that's a good way to get your car stolen though. I can try it with my car today on the way to work to see what it does that way, I know if you have the engine running and door open but keys in your pocket it does nothing. everything I do is after it is shut off, but I'll try and see what happens and let you know tomorrow night.

ok so I did try every scenario presented with my factory keypad on the way to work the other day. so with the engine running I cannot leave the keys in the bronco lock the doors then shut them or use the thumb pad on the door handle to lock the doors. won't do it, but I can push "8" and "9" at the same time on my key pad and lock the doors with the engine running and the keys inside, which surprised me, but I enter my code and the door unlocks so not a big deal. and of course it is the same for with the engine off, the only way the doors will not unlock themselves if the keys are inside is if you use the key pad to lock the doors. I didn't try the ford pass app though so maybe I'll try that tomorrow.

It’s only some owners that state the vehicle auto locks with engine running as described earlier in my post - not every owner so I suspect what is happening is those owners inadvertently hit one of the lock methods as described earlier (as they exit the drivers side with engine running)
I too think that's what has been happening!

nope, like I mentioned I tried every locking method and there is no way for me to lock the doors with the engine runing, or stopped, aside from intentionaly using the key pad on the door piller and you can't accadently do that as it is black and you have to intentionaly look to find the faint numbers and push them at the same time. I wonder if they are confusing the "auto" lock function when you are moving over a certian speed as it will also lock after a period of time.

I think when the driver exits the vehicle with the engine running and keypod left inside the vehicle (not in an RFID protected case) then when they claim the vehicle is auto locking they are (most likely in my opinion) inadvertently hitting the lock button on the inside drivers door or are inadvertently hitting the lock sensor on the exterior drivers door handle.

We have beat this dead horse plenty of times.
I would sat that is somthing that should be fixed and not a intended normal way of operation. I threw my keys on the seat, in the cubby hole and a couple other places, tried to lock the door, it locked but as soon as I closed it I got the double honk and it unloacked. I got this when I tried to lock it from the inside lock button and when I tried to lock it after the door was closed with the thumb sensor on the door handle. pretty much any new vehichle will not let you lock keys in the car, so if it is doing that then there is a glitch in the software and it needs to be addressed.

In English your post translates roughly to:

“Sorry, because I'm new in this world, still with my first Bronco Sport. Here in Brazil, if I'm not mistaken, it only came out in the first model of its launch here in 2021. And here we only have one version for purchase, for us, Wildtrack, which would be your Badlands. So I ask why it doesn't work in the Badlands version? According to Ford's website, where this piece is for sale.”

The ‘21-‘24 Wildtrack in your country is roughly equivalent to a ‘21-‘24 Badlands with additional features on the Wildtrack that are not on the Badlands.

Perhaps your post did not translate perfectly to English because I am not sure what question you are asking?

I apologize for writing in Portuguese. I actually wrote it in English and it was translated. But you answered me. I didn't realize our "wildtrack" has a few more items than your Badland version.

I don’t remember all the differences others with wildtracks posted about - you may have electric folding mirrors for example and that option is not available for ‘21-‘24 in the US and Canada

Here’s a search for Wildtrack on this forum in case you want to see prior posts ..

All 2025’s have Ford Intelligent Access (keyless entry), so a keypad is redundant. With the fob in your pocket or purse you just touch the inside of either front door handle and it unlocks. Lock by touching the top of either door handle. The tailgate and rear window unlock by just pressing the button.

so there are no 2025 and newer out there with the integrated touch pad on the b pillar trim? is that a confirmed fact yet?
Yes, it is confirmed! I know a gal that purchased a 2025 Bronco Sport and was told by a dealership she could have one installed. They couldn't get it to work, then hears from Ford Corporation that the integrated once are not set up to work on the 2025s! So they had to remove it. If you go to the site where you can purchase parts the integrated ones were only for 21-24s otherwise you have to get the stick on ones.

yeah that was @Lisa Sue on post #43 of this thread. i ask because dealerships are useless and Ford's website also said the keypad isn't compatible with badlands models but i installed one on our 2024 and was able to use ForScan to enable it and program it.

was it not an option when building the 2025+?
