Ford teased on Instagram that they are releaseing a BroncoSport Sasquatch Package apparently to be released on 8/26.

Its interesting because I think Ford proved that people want a more capable crossover, that people who want a CUV may want something more off roady without giving into the compromises innate to body on frame vehicles. You've also seen the betterment of AWD systems across brands too.

I imagine this will have a lift and better bashguard, like the spy photos of the 2025s we've seen. It may make for a compelling upgrade. We also know the Sport is capable off road but the clearance holds it back significantly. If Ford was able to up that to 10in is could be big deal and clearly exciting for me apparently.

Its also something I'll consider as well. I dont do trails but this car does scrape and a lift, a factory lift at that, would be a good upgrade for me. I went to King Lake recently up in the high country and it was a rough/rocky forest road really but I found myself constantly worrying about clearance. It was a pain. The confidence that a lift gives can be susbtantial. Not to mention if they add, and I imagine they almost certainyl will, a better bashguard....could be cool.

Some are speculating the pre-production vehicle spied by Autoblog will become the Sasquatch offering. Looks like a modest lift and more/better under armor. If this does include a lift (assuming no other major modifications), then that would answer a lot of questions about how/whether a lift might affect the drivetrain component longevity on earlier MY cars.

Lol I can’t wait to see what they try and charge for this. On the Big Bronco you get the upgraded rack, gears, suspension, lockers, and tires. None of that is happening on the BS.

Agreed. Besides from a factory lift and a bit larger tire as standard equipment, I'm guessing a boatload of cosmetic bells and whistles? I'm not sure what they can add to the BS that will make any substantial difference if using the same transmission, which seems to be one of the... let's say... less rugged.... aspects of the vehicle - especially with the larger engine. So.... i dunno. Maybe Ford will surprise me.

I hope that it also adds the 2 L engine as an option so you don't have to pay for the more expensive Badlands trim if that's all you want and then maybe like a little lift and tires. Maybe a skid plate or maybe make those optional and then you just don't get the extra twinster rear clutch system or the locking PTU maybe and the extra off-road modes.

Or maybe they add some of them but it would be cool to be able to get the 2 L and maybe some off-road stuff without having to pay for the top Badlands trim. I remember when they were first talking about the bronco sport coming out. They were all supposed to have the 2 L engine. I get that some people are fine with the 1.5 but I would really want mine with the 2 L (which I have) and then that way if you don't want all the off-road stuff you can get that engine but it's a lot cheaper.

Hopefully it's more than just a cosmetic package.

I'm not in the market for a Sasquatch in the BS or full size Bronco but I've always felt it was a very good package.
