2dr 6gen is awesome! I'm lucky rough to have both. 2-door is definitely the way to go.
One big advantage to getting the 2-door after having the sport: the turning radius and other things are much more similar to the sport than the 4-door. They don't handle the same, but they do fit into the...
Definitely the best dedicated snow test video I've seen!
I have the Toyo ATIIIs on my sport. They've done great (especially in the snow) and they're relatively lightweight. My only gripe has been early tread wear.
I have the Baja Boss ATs on my "big" bronco have have been really really...
Great to see this comparison head to head! There haven't been many comparisons of the two that are this detailed, and they're vehicles that are very squarely aimed at each other.
Fair enough. I'm a bit hesitant to run 245/65 without a lift. They are good tires, though! Heavy as all get out, but the tread pattern and sidewall strength are really hard to beat. They're also quiet on the highway. But damn, 38lbs for a tire is a lot for the sport. That's almost 1.5x the stock...
Honest question: do they even make those in a size that fits the sport? I have them on my "big" bronco and love them. They're not made in 235/65/r17, though it looks like they might be available in 245/65/r17
@Garth - It includes a spacer puck for the rear, but no different sway bar links, control arms/etc. If you're coming from a non-Bandlands/1st ed/sasquatch, Ford makes a more complete kit with what I suspect are the same Bilstein struts.
I've about worn out a set of Toyo ATIII's over the past 4 years. They're a great tire, if you change your mind for any reason. They've held up to an absolute ton of sidewall abuse, kept traction in a lot of messy stuff, and are still a really nice on road tire. Personally, I think they're a...
I just wanted to say that I don't have an answer, but have been considering similar options and am interested in the response.
As I understand it, the Bilstein Terrasport is effectively what's on the 2025 sasquatch trims. By that logic, it's likely similar overall clearance and travel to the...
Yeah, sorry. Forgot what forum I was in (I have both and tend to be active in both forums). Indeed, there are no realistic winch options for the sport.
If you have the badlands, you'll have at least the capable bumper. The factory winch mount is meant to work with the modular bumper, but it can work with some very minor modifications to the capable bumper as well.
There are a variety of aftermarket options, but honestly, the Ford performance...
Yeah, for clarity, there are two positions for the floor in the back. You need to use the higher one for any full size spare. Your photos show it in the lower position.
The load floor (flat piece you pull out to access the tire) should on top of the circled supports when it's in the higher...
There are a bunch of air horn threads on here from back when things first launched if you want to go that route. E.g. https://www.broncosportforum.com/nobody-will-ignore-this-bronco-sport-with-train-horns/
I have to admit it looks fun....
KO2s are notoriously loud.
If you want something quieter, look at more or less any other AT tire. You'll hear Falkens mentioned a lot, and they're great, but personally I really like Toyo Open Country ATIIIs for this exact reason. They're a very quiet tire on the road, while still holding up...
Went on a picnic a couple of days ago and happened to get a Ford marketing style picture... I should have posed it on the rocks there just to be extra ridiculous...
I like the idea, but I hate the execution here... I hope this isn't the design that the next generation of sports go for. The swing out tailgate could be nice. And I'm all for a plug in hybrid option. But I really dislike this styling. It takes what looks good on the sport currently and removes...
This is a pretty neat review! It's really great to see it done with an actual trail comparison.
In particular, it really focuses on how different the badlands is than the other trims in terms of the AWD system. It's a very interesting demonstration!
Driving sports TV recently bought a 2025 badlands (non sasquatch) as a long term review vehicle. Here's their first off-road focused tests of it. Definitely interesting to see!
At least this means that battery replacement will be under warranty now. Mine failed about 6 month ago and wasn't. I replaced it with a non-motorcraft AGM when it wasn't covered under warranty.
