Ford App not working (iPhone)

Looks like there might have been an update and all I get now is just a white screen. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck. I am wondering if this is customer wide or just me. Anyone else having this issue?

No issues for me. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS and the Ford software.

For iPhone owners …

Install: iOS 17.5.1 or latest
Install: FordPass App v5.0.1 or latest

If starting FordPass App v5.0.1 on iPhone results in a white screen, try this workaround until the FordPass Team releases an App update for iPhone:
Go to iPhones App Library and perform FordPass App delete from the App Library including deleting the Apps data (On the iPhone, it may be better to use the App Library to delete an App - the App Library is found by swiping Left until the App Library screen shows). Go to your iPhone Settings and adjust text size to the smallest size.Then re-install FordPass App to your iPhone.

Other things to try:
Perform SYNC Reset: Simultaneously press and hold the seek up (seek forward) and the audio unit power buttons until the screen goes black.

Install SYNC 3, Software Version: 3.4 Build 23188 PRODUCT or latest.

Have you tried doing a SYNC Reset? There are 2 Reset options on the SYNC screen menu. I did a Reset there, NOT the Factory Reset. I did not lose any personalized settings on the car.

It resolved the updating problem that I had with the new Ford Pass app on my Android.

Ended up resetting the sync and redownloading the app for the 4th time at that seemed to work for now. What a pain in the ass. Thanks for your help.

Update to FordPass App v5.0.1.

Not available yet on Google Play Store. It still shows 5.0.0.

I wonder how often Ford updates Service History. It isn't showing my latest service for the 24S24 Recall that I had done 2 days ago. It took a full week before it showed my recent oil change.
The service history is also not accurate. For example, for the service I had to install mud flaps, it is listed as maintenance. And for the subsequent visit to repair the damage that they caused*, it also shows as maintenance.

* The service tech installed one of the rear mud flaps on the front, drilling holes where he should not have. The repair was to replace the fender trim. That's incompetence. He should have checked the part numbers on the 2 bags (one for front set and one bag for the rear set) to determine which was front and which was rear.

I should have been more clear - v5.0.1 I posted about was for iPhone users due to FordPass App issues on that phone. Sorry I was not clear. I updated my prior post.

Usually I’ve found it takes the dealership up to a week to post service records that show up on the App. I have not had a recall yet and haven’t had 24S24 done so I don’t know how long recalls take to show updated on the FordPass App.

I have same issue as you with service records .. The dealership service history is not accurate and is not complete as shown on the App.

Good News!
After updating to the latest iOS, deleting the app and then reinstalling, it works perfectly now. The updated FordPass app is not backward compatible for iPhone, so you have to have the latest version of the iOS.

My wife has this issue. She noticed it on Sunday. Did the same as you by deleting then re-installing the app, but still a blank screen on her iPhone.

I'll suggest to her doing what is stated in reply #15 above.
