Wrong Bronco Key?

For those of you that still have the hatch pop button on your fob there's a company called emerald struts who sells struts with a spring on them which Initiates the full lift of the rear hatch on its own which I installed on my ST.

Worth looking into maybe. Our new badlands doesn't have that button anymore.

I can say for sure the struts for the focus are about 2 inches shorter. But would probably still work

My 2023 had a set of fobs without the hatch button. Just all black with a big black panel of nothing under the lock/unlock buttons. I bought one with the hatch button and programmed it, works fine.

Which brings me to a question I’ve always wanted to ask. I know there is a button next to the headlight control to unlock the back. Does pressing this button unlock the hatch itself or just the liftgate glass?

Umm…I don’t own a Bronco Sport yet. Kinda difficult to press a button that I don’t have.

My 2024 OB doesn't have a hatch button either.

The hatch button seems to be up to Ford. The keys I bought online to self-program had the hatch button, the vehicles that came with the vehicle did not.

If you have a newer BS and you want to add third/fourth keys with self programming, keys with the hatch button, that button will work so long as the keys are the appropriate frequency (Ford uses two different frequencies for god knows what reason; getting a good smartphone camera shot or magnifying glass for the M3N part number on the bottom of the fob [the base of the fob, with the emergency metal keyblade removed] you can google to find out the frequency).
