One of the biggest reasons (though certainly not the only reason) people buy or do business with someone or a particular place is they feel a measure of trust/confidence with them—they like them.

An important rule of business: don’t piss off your customer, bullshit them or jerk them around. Doing that drives away business. And bad word-of-mouth can spread faster than good word-of-mouth.

Happy, satisfied customers are bread-and-butter and invaluable free advertising for your business. It also promotes repeat business from those same customers.

I was driving a 2010 ford fusion for commuting back and forth to work. so I put about 30000miles a year on the car just driving to work and back and it was up to 240000miles and stuff was starting to go wrong with it so it was time to replace it. I also drive across the "highway to hell" (tv show about towing companies on the Coquihalla highway in BC. ) and had a list of things I needed to replace my fusion. I wanted LED lights and fog lights, Heated seats and steering wheel, automatic (was tired of driving a manual) AWD, remote start, and the big thing if I was buying a new car, I wanted it big enough to put my hockey gear in so I didn't need to use my truck just to go play hockey in the winter. Oh and did I mention I wanted good fuel milage also? the bronco sport fit all the requirements, it was a little soft on the fuel milage requirement, but the advertised of 8.4L/100km wasn't far off the 8.2 I was getting with the fusion. I was pleasantly surprised to find I was getting 6.8/100km with highway summer tires on it, and when I went to a snowflake mountain peek rated tire so I didn't have to switch tires or buy a second set of 18" rims I went down to 7.4L/100km in the summer so I was still very happy.
What snowflake mountain peek rated tire did you switch too.

I pared my list down to four different vehicles, then I created a decision matrix rating each vehicle on the list for value, projected reliability, performance, fuel economy, suitability for my needs, comfort, and off-road chops. After adding up all the numbers, I picked the one that made me smile biggest when looking at it.

My Wife LOVED her 02 Jeep Liberty Limited. She liked the size, maneuverability and the available traction.

I was having to work on it more often and annual repairs were approaching market value, which usually isn't a good idea so, she knew she needed to be looking elsewhere.

Its her car, so I mostly stay out of the initial research, if you want to call it that. All I said, was no more Jeep products. So, the BS is the closest fit she could find, as a direct replacement of the car she loved.

Then it was my turn to look into it and finding the BS drive system to be impressive enough that I'd never worry about her getting stuck in bad weather, we were good to go.

The rest was up to her and I think she chose well.

Previous two vehicles were Hyundai Tucsons which I liked very well. I live in Tennessee and don't off road but two years ago I got the chance to work as a volunteer for a month at Arches National Park. I had been in that area before and loved all the hiking available. I took my Tucson on some rough roads and it did well but I was limited on where I could go and which trails I could hike. Got the position again the following summer and decided to get something a bit more capable.

Even though my very first car was a 66 Mustang, I never considered myself a Ford person, but when the Bronco and Sport came out, I really liked the looks of them. I had some money saved up so when I started shopping for a Sport last year, I found a 21 Badlands that I could trade my Tucson for and pay cash for the difference.

Last summer I took that Bronco Sport all over the Southwest and it performed really well. This summer I'll be returning to Arches for my third stint and hope to make it a yearly occasion until I retire in a few more years when I can volunteer at various parks for longer periods. For me the BS is a great compromise between being a nice daily diver and getting me to places most SUV's other than Jeeps couldn't.

Pic is of my BS on the White Rim Rd, Canyonlands.

White Rim Rd and Shafer are perfect roads for the Sport!

I went with the Cooper discoverer road and trail t/a int he factory 18" rim size. have been extremely happy with them. I did lose a bit of fuel milage but still get a lot better than the advertised on the highway milage.

I live in snow country and wanted an SUV that was higher off the ground and four wheel drive. I bought some new take-off Maverick Tremor wheels and tires and it worked out well in the snow. I bought a new 2023 on early 2024 with a big discount and that also helped sway the purchase.

I was “done” w/Ford from ‘86 to ‘07 (back-to-back lemon Broncos). Bought ‘07 Edge, then a ‘15 Edge. Liked both Edges, and fell in love when new Bronco announced. Wanted a 2dr when they were announced until I found out I had a 1-2 year wait in line. Looked into Sport and liked what I saw and ordered BSBL BL sight unseen in 2020, delivered in 3/21 before dealer had even gotten one to display. Rolled out the door with the first one from the dealer and have never looked back

We had a '08 escape 4wd v6 that I really liked. Looks, power and reasonable gas mileage. Owned it 8 years with no real issues, 95k but we decided in 2018 we needed something with a little more safety options and I liked the looks of the '18 escape so we leased it. I think it was around late 2019 early 2020 when Ford announced they were resurrecting the Bronco. The Sport was a couple of months later and I was excited to see what they were going to sell them for. I really liked the looks as it was totally unique compared to other manufacturers. Unfortunately, the initial pricing was just out of our budget. Then, my wife said, they're making a Maverick! Not a car, but a pickup! Well, I owned a '71 Mercury Comet GT and a '71 Ford Maverick back in the day so when the order bank opened in 2021, I ordered an xlt awd. A month later, my salesman called to say my build order would be delayed, possibly a year, because of the chip shortage (I ordered co-pilot 360+) and if I removed that from the order then it would get built faster. I refused to alter my order and began to look for an alternative. It just happened I was looking at my dealers' inventory and saw bronco sports that they had in build process and one that nearly mirrored my Maverick! Price was $4,000 higher, and the dealer had another 4k markup! I called my salesman and he checked with his sales manager and called back saying they would remove the markup taking my Maverick and gave us a great trade in deal for our 2019 Ecosport titanium that we bought used with 9k on the odometer in 2020 and got out of the escape lease. They were hard up for used inventory (covid) and the ecosport had less than 18k. We leased the '22 BSBB and just recently swapped it for our current '24 BB. We are very happy with our bronco sport and were equally happy with the '22 BB which we named Spooky. Our new one is named Spooky Too, although our 4yr old grandson calls her Spooky Spooky!

see and I don't see anything about that screen that makes it worth trading in for a newer bronco sport. I have that setup in my 2014 truck (not as big but all the controls on the screen) and I don't like it. that actually looks like waisted space just for the sake of a bigger screen to me.
