Even if there were multiple manufacturing sites for the BSport I don't believe it would matter quality wise nearly as much as the engineering and design for all the components that are then shipped to the site to put together. Yes there would certainly be some issues with overall assembly especially at first, but after a quick ramp up at a given plant the biggest factor is the sum of the individual component quality that the workers put together. With tons of different suppliers of the different parts and pieces it is difficult to have world class quality control that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It's a difficult balance to achieve when the bean counters have such a strong voice. I would like to see Ford give more weight to world class engineering and design and TESTING in their components.

My window sticker just shows final assembly in Hermosillo, MX.... I did not notice any detail on where the engine was produced or what percentages of the vehicle where produced outside of Mexico. I'll take a closer look once I'm home but pretty sure it's not broken down.

Good Lord you'd think you would have none with less than 500 miles . Good luck going forward.

I believe there were a few here that had issues right away. Battery, brakes, oil and coolant leaks etc.

My BSBB was assembled in Mexico but outside of the recalls and the fact that with the with the colder weather the "whale sounds" have returned when I back up I've had no real issues after 8800 miles.

That's right I do recall that. Guess you've been lucky. You'd think for that much money you wouldnt have ANY issues for 15,000 plus miles.
