Hello all,

I have been looking into purchasing some auxiliary lights for my ‘22 BS Badlands and so have been trying to plan out where I can wire them and install a single (perhaps double functionality) aux on/off switch to power them. Ideally I do not want to have to drill any holes for mounting- I would like to avoid any permanent damage to the interior, and keep things as simple, clean, and functional as possible.

Does anyone know what this small black cover is for (circled in photo)? I have done a fair amount of research and have yet to find any posts/information that pertains to this. It appears easy enough to remove, but I have yet to try so I am unsure what lies behind. If there was sufficient space, I think this minor feature could be the answer that many Bronco Sport owners are looking for, and could serve as a great place to wire a switch without having to drill/cut/drape wires around.

Does anyone know of any control switches available that would fit? Anything OEM that could work? Perhaps something could be 3D printed?
Any and all feedback or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Try an AuxBeam or similar design touch switch mounted in the center console where it works best for you. The switch is easy to install, prevents the potential for gazillions of wires in the occupants compartment, and is easy to add additional functions. Check it out.......

This is what I ended up installing but word of warning. There are no indicators if you left any circuits on. So if you have trash memory like me, you may occasionally leave something on when you walk away from your car. I ended up wiring a custom indicator pod to help me remember
