After 17 years of owning a Jeep Liberty, I still call mine "the Jeep" about 1/2 the time.

While elk hunting, a Game & Fish Officerr stopped by camp and asked my friend "who owns that pretty car. a birdwatcher? Now my friend calls it the Bluebird. I just got the HRG lift put on it on Thursday, so now he says the Bluebird is flying high.
At this point you have no choice but to buy one of these:

My BSBL is named Gila (pronounced Hee-la) after the first wilderness in the country, here in Mew Mexico. I’m a backpacker of 47 years and to me the Gila is sort of a pilgrimage. This is the 100th year. I’m an avid admirer of Aldo Leopold, who had the amazing foresight of putting land aside to stay wild. Maybe I could have named my Bronco Aldo.

My wife and I love the Gila also. We were seriously considering moving to Silver City many years ago. Then the LA Times declared that it was the next "retirement mecca" (for Californians flush with real estate profits) and land prices shot up literally 10x overnight.

It's a beautiful area with a great climate.

Terrell Davis is taped up and back in the game! (Much like TD, my BS feels like it could go through almost anything...passing is way too Russell Wilson-esque to call it John Elway.)

When our daughter got her nursing degree, the first job she took was in snowy Galena, Illinois. Worked out well, cuz she could live at our lake house & commute the 20 miles to her job. Only problem was the lake property roads could become a little much for her Mustang during the ‘right around the corner’ winter months. We purchased her a black 2011 Escape awd to solve that issue.
She called it Dusty after a player on the Chicago Blackhawks at that time.
Well, Dusty fell victim to some icy roads later that winter, and was replaced by a 2013 Escape, metallic grey in color, so the Dusty name still applied. But then she changed job locations to the city of Chicago, and began doing the train commute thing, along with her Mustang, and mom & I had the Escape come to us.
A short time later that Escape became a 2015 Pearl white Escape, and Dusty then became Frosty. Then the new Broncos arrived at Ford dealers, and Frosty the Escape became Frosty the Area 51 OBX BS. Whew! Long story, I know, and I apologize. But that’s how our Bronco became to be known as Frosty. 😎😀

I have never named a Car, Truck or SUV, Until I read this thread. So I went out and christened my Bronco Sport Heritage "Mr. Ed".

A horse is a horse, of course, of course,
And no one can talk to a horse of course
That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mr. Ed.

Go right to the source and ask the horse
He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse.
He's always on a steady course.
Talk to Mr. Ed.

If you don't know Mr. Ed you need to look up talking horse
