No I had 235 60 18 toyos, I noticed about 1.5 miles drop per gallon from stock to the 235, will definitely keep you updated on the larger size

I just ordered the stock 225 for the BL which I will move to the other car when I get the A/T tires, just can't decide between 235 and 245, though I'm leaning heavily towards 245's gas having jumped 40 cents since yesterday has me second guessing >_<

I’m probably going to get 245s and keep a second set for when I want to either go off road. That way I can get the best of both worlds. I like the scorpions for the mpg and highway ride, it would be nice to have something more aggressive for the backwoods, fire roads, logging roads, driving in the high desert or Baja Mexico. Not worrying about damaging the rims.

Remember the parking lot hit and run fiasco a few weeks ago resulting in a caved in door. Well today it was confirmed by the body shop and insurance company that I get a brand new door. Now I’m allowed to do what I can to make it somewhat more presentable. So, my many years as a body shop employee back in the ‘90’s came back into play. Suction cups, heat and quenching brought it out somewhat. It’s not perfect because of the body lines but it’ll do until the new door shell comes in.

Actually did it yesterday, but took pics today. Installed roof rail crossbars. These are "universal" fit, will hold 150#, and only cost $79 at Harbor Freight.

Installed Yakima roof rack the other day, forgot to get some daylight pics. Had a spare set of corebars (Yakima sent replacements for them because the plastic coating on the outside was splitting, didn't make them unusable, props to them for replacing) Just had to buy the timberline towers. Was worried that they wouldn't look good, but was surprised how much I like the look. I thought the timberline towers would look goofy and that the cross bars would sit too high but they look great.

Damn Dude! Looks decent, I think I'd tell the Insurance company to give you the $$ and leave the door alone.

Yah, it came out not too bad. but not perfect. I guess some things stay with you after huffing paint fumes for over a decade yet not doing body work for the past 20+ years. I could live with it as is if it was years old and I did the damage. But not 3 months and someone else’s fault. A new door it shall receive.
