Figured out the problem, for some dumb reason I pulled the back of the switch out instead the actual plug....when I laid the panel down in the frass the silicone insert inside the plug fell out so when I reinstalled everything the buttons never depressed. Had to verify this on passenger side...
Oh and I broke 3 clips! 🤬🤬 man is it a bitch to find plastic retainer clips online. There the ones that slide over top of the plastic pieces on the window/door lock piece. Wonder if my local dealer has a bunch on hand
Excellent! Thank you ...put the new speakers in the front tonight but held off on the sound deadening. My new problem is the driver side door lock/unlock buttons aren't working. The plug is reconnected but the buttons themselves are still depressed and don't actually "push"/move. I'm almost...
What's the trick with this stuff? Make a stencil, cut it to size and slap it over everything? My concern would be covering up things that may need to be accessed in the future.....but it looks like people cover up just about everything but the speaker itself. Any tips??
They don't! Reached out for some warranty stuff, took my VIN and heard nothing back since then....OPs concern is legitimate. For the dealership to take your car for that long for warranty related issues and not receive a loaner vehicle is ludicrous
Had the Bronco in the dealership for the recall work. Mentioned to them a rattle in the rear exhaust area that I could hear while I was outside the BS. They called and confirmed they heard as well, didn't find anything loose but stated it might be muffler baffling loose internally. Around that...

I'll do you one better....why not replace the fuel rail and be done with it?! All this effort to mitigate a problem when they could just completely fix it....not concerned though
Just had something similar happen. Blind corner, dead tree across the road. Was on top of it before I knew it. Part of it kicked up and whacked the evaporator canister, putting a crack in it. Possibly more damage but haven't gotten around to taking the fabric panel off to look. 2 things, other...
