Bugs me that the hatch didn't have a powered open option. Also bugs me that it's sync 3 and not sync 4, plugging in your phone is a pain for every day driving and so I never do it unless I'm on a road trip. I wish the roof antenna was a bit more flush, I admit that I've already broken it once. The USB plug in the center console should tie into the sync system, or maybe one in the glove box to plug in a USB stick for an MP3 library. The Vehicle should come pre-wired for a hitch setup, usually it's pretty easy to just buy the hitch kit and plug into a harness in the rear, that is not there on the sport.

But the biggest thing that bugs me, why can't the car start in the goat mode that it was last set on? It's annoying to pop it into ecomode everyday for daily driving.
this was/is my complaint about our Explorer ST, if I left it in Sport mode I want it in sport mode.

I don't mind the shift knob. This is my first automatic car and a rotary dial seems like the most logical control.
What I don't like is the pedal position. The angle is too steep and the height difference between gas and brake is too much. Makes me leg hurt after an hour in traffic.
The other thing is the mute button on the steering wheel. Why is it not a play pause button? It's only useful with terrestrial radio and even then a play/pause button can act as mute in that source mode. Makes no sense especially when you got both of them on the dash.
edit: when in android auto it takes 8 button presses to change to FM radio from the myview screen. Or take your eyes off the road even more and do it in just 4 taps on the touch screen. Thats just bad UX.

fabric fender liners.
no front tow hooks.
no skidplate options (on non-badlands anyway).

these things are minor for me. i still love driving it everyday.

the rotary dial - i hated it at first, but actually grown to like it! give it some time folks!

Squeaks/rattles from somewhere in the dash is what is driving me nuts. I have had mine for three months now and other than that, it's not bad. So far I just turn the radio up.

you should be able to change the radio with the buttons on the right (lower, dual purpose)
Is your BB color the Alto? If so what do you think of it so far?
Really enjoying the alto blue. It looks so different in different conditions, like from a black in some to almost teal in others.

I also wish it'd default to your last GOAT mode. Or let me select a default. And I agree with how rattle-y the interior has been from day one.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned (or maybe there's just something wrong with mine), my turn signals auto-cancel waaaaay too easily. They'll cancel just from me moving from a travel lane to a turn lane. Then I have to enable the signal again once I'm in the turn lane. It's maddening. I have to do it so much, I've noticed I instinctively try to reset the turn signal on my motorcycle after entering a turn lane, despite not having auto-cancelling signals.

I also hate how laggy the infotainment system is. If even your boot animation is laggy, you've fundamentally failed. Everything about it is so slow. Push a button. Wait. Wait. "BEEP". Wait. Wait. Okay now you're at the next screen. Insane.

Why is it such a pain in the ass to access the cabin fuse panel?

Why am I guaranteed to pinch my rear seatbelts when folding my rear seats back up, even if I take the time to thread the seatbelts into the little holder clip things that are supposed to (but fail to) keep the seatbelts out of the latching mechanism?

Why is the headliner in my outdoorsy car damn near white?

The double-honk when exiting the vehicle with the engine running.
If you leave the key fob in the vehicle does it still do this? Also if you walk away from the vehicle with the door open does it still do this? I've been driving a Honda Accord with a push button start and seems to beep as well. But I can get around the beeps if I'm just stepping out for a hot second by leaving the key fob in the vehicle or keeping the driver door open when I walk away.

Well, I've been to one world fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing I ever heard come over a set of earphones-Major T.J. "King" Kong utterances

Not something I hate, but something I miss having. My 4Runner has for shortcuts for dialing favorite phone numbers on the main screen.

Things I dislike;
That there is no home button on the deeper sync screens.
Being a '21, no homelink.
The fuel door doesn't lock.
Can't lock the doors from the hatch.

Eight months and just over 4000 miles in, I honestly can't think of a single thing I "hate" about my Big Bend. Do I wish it had a power liftgate, rain sensitive wipers, a garage door opener and dual climate control? Sure but I'm happy with the features I have for the price point of the Big Bend. Honestly my only major disappointment is the towing capacity of even the 2.0l engine. If the Badlands had the same 3500 lb towing capacity as the 2.0l Escape, I could have justified the additional spend. Minus that, the Big Bend satisfies all my needs.

Front camera with parking sensors.
overhead 360 camera when parking.

I have an Outer Banks with all the convenience I could add but their should have been even more high-end options.

I know it's just my OCD, but it drives me a bit crazy that the handle for the back glass/windshield Wiper is off center lol

I've never loved a car before this one. It means a lot to me and makes me proud to even be seen driving it. There's only one thing I hate about it.
Hearing "It's not a real Bronco" all the time. ?
I will fight them with you!
