Does anyone prefer the Bronco Sport over the regular Bronco? (Or vice versa)

My wife is an inch shorter and has a Wildtrak Bronco with factory running boards. She doesn't have any problems, or at least not enough for her to give up her Bronco. My Bronco has slider steps that are up a couple of inches higher than her running boards and she still climbs in. Where...

Does anyone prefer the Bronco Sport over the regular Bronco? (Or vice versa)

I have 2dr Bronco 4cyl with the manual transmission. I thought it would always be in boost, but it's not. It has a boost gage that you watch. You can pretty easily drive it without using boost except from a stop where it will use a little boost to get you going, unless you to want make...

Big Bronco Wildtrak vs. Bronco Sport Badlands off-road shootout (driving sports TV)

and he used crawl control incorrectly by constantly turning the tires. That surprised me because he owned a 4R for about a year. For those that don't know, Toyota CC can pull loose dirt and sand under the tire and raises the tire out of the hole. Would it have worked if he had not kept steering...

Big Bronco Wildtrak vs. Bronco Sport Badlands off-road shootout (driving sports TV)

So.... The 24 4Runner TRD Pro couldn't make it up the hill until he lowered the tire pressure.

    Kinetic rope question

BS doesn't have a frame. Consider how much of "yank" you want to give it. A kinetic rope is going to lessen the shock but it won't remove all of the stress imparted to the vehicles. I have no idea what it would take to tweak a BS body doing a recovery. I'd be really careful if it was stuck...

    Waterspots and brush scratches

Water spots. Mine had very bad water spots. The dealer detail guy said he could not polish them out without risking burning through the paint. 69cuda recommended Meguirs 3 in 1 wax. It worked, he did his by hand I used an orbital polisher.

    Considering a Grown Up Bronco

BTDT. We have two Broncos now, 2dr BL and 4dr Wildtrak. The Sport I had was 21 BL+BL. The Sport was far and away a better commuter and road tripper. Broncos are awesome in a totally different way that is not related to comfort and convenience of every day life. However as an old timer I've...

Big Bronco Wildtrak vs. Bronco Sport Badlands off-road shootout (driving sports TV)

I like his reviews, they're not perfect but he is generally fair. He says many times that he really likes the Sport. He made note that the Wildtrak had aftermarket tires. Dry dirt, like dry sand gets looser as you churn it. I wasn't there but I also think it probably dried out during the...

Audio Cuts out for Split Second while listening to music

I don't remember if I posted this. I have the same problem on my 2022 Bronco as I did on my 2021 Bronco Sport. Sync 3 on the Sport, Sync 4 on the Bronco. Two different Android phones, Motorola and Samsung. Different releases of Android.

    Hood Graphics

I never did. I had a chance to get a Bronco and the Sport was the trade in. I miss the Sport and I have a loose plan to pick up one up used in a few years.

Interesting Discussion Today on the Bronco Forum

I'm in that thread, I think the Sport deserves to be in the Bronco family. However after seeing the division in the fan base, I now believe having a different name would be better. I think I said Escape Wilderness in the B6G thread. It would be the same great vehicle but you wouldn't have...

Bronco Sport flipping is about to end

You have to consider the Boomers with big 401k money and good retirement plans plus Social Security. They aren't talking it with them and they don't have many good years of driving left. I'm closing in on that situation minus the huge 401k. I might not have long before I can't drive, for...

Bronco Sport flipping is about to end

When I was looking at 2 door Broncos, the offer on my 21 Badlands with 8000 miles was 33k, 35k and 38k across 4 dealers in 4 states. 38K was lower than the sticker, but what I paid for it new (Xplan). The 38K was at my local dealer. I think it was essentially an off set of their ADM. The...

    Help… I can’t get these spots off!

I used it on all of my glass. The sunroof, like Cuda's, was heavily spotted.

    Help… I can’t get these spots off!

I took his advice and used this on my Sport after the detail guy at the dealer gave up on the spots. Yep it worked. I used an orbital polisher except in the tight spots that I had to do by hand.

We love our BS.... but name one thing you dislike about it

The wife hates the way the vehicle shudders on stop/start. Either it's getting worse over time or we are getting more sensitized to it.

    Tow hooks installed

Back in the dinosaur days we would just drill two holes in the frame and bolt on a hook we got from the speed shop or 4wd store. I never saw one of them come loose. All we had back then were straps without much stretch and we hit them hard. I guess if the bolt is big enough and good enough...
