Nice! I'm picking mine up from Granger as well, about a week before yours, hopefully. It's been delivered to the rail yard in Kansas City now, and now another waiting period to have someone truck it over to Granger...Same here!

I didn't think that it needed anymore parts since it is listed as being "Built" and the as-built comes up with everything. Could be a shipping delay due to all of the ones being produced that they can't ship because of the lack of chips. Only Ford knows exactly what is going on and unfortunately they aren't talking.
That’s a yea, if they been running like they have for the last two production weeks it’ll be built in about 9 days or so.
However there are those horror stories out there so you don’t know until you get that built notification that you’re good.
The 9 days is fast. There are stories on here of cars being in production for months before getting built.

So with the car being shipped and delivery…does the dealer ever contact you or do they just kinda call into day and let you know it’s there?
The last I heard from my dealer was when the VIN was available.
I sent an email today to see if they got any details that I can use to track the shipment.
I assume they'll call shortly after they get the vehicle to schedule the pick-up & documentation stuff.

They’ll call you after it arrives and ask how you plan on buying it, so they can get your file going.
Will depend on your dealer. I’ve had it go both ways where they have kept me informed and where I had to call to find out. With the interweb, I suppose they figure you know more than them. Granger posted a thread about deliveries. It may be on the B6 forum. It laid out time lines. I’ll see if I can find it.
in any case, when it arrives, they need to process it which will take a couple of days so they will call you with a time to pick it up..
How does Granger notify you? I'm awaiting for mine any day now and not sure what to expect. I'm not local to Des Moines so I'll have to book travel.

The last 2 vehicles I ordered were ready just a few hours after getting unloaded from truck. No way I would want them spending a couple of days getting it ready. Too much of a chance for them put VIn etching or lowjack or a dozen other worthless options on.
