I didn't follow his video when I was putting it back together, I just put it back together the same way I took it apart. You'll need lots of space to lay out each and every part in order and the screws in order too.
Part Number on the back of the module was M1PT-18C612-GE. Ford part numbers are weird and I think someone posted the real part number that you can use to find it on the website.
I purchased the cup holder with the ambient lighting from another thread on here and installed it.
Part was only...
Weekend success!
Pictures of: before, during, testing, after.
Tested all of the functions and they all work. For me personally, so much better, I've always had a temperature display in my previous cars. Took 1.5 hours total.
Issue for me is that I use Apple Carplay 100% of the time, and I find myself having to joggle the temperature dial back and forth to figure out the right temperature, and that is just annoying.
Here's the part number on the back of the module:
m1pt-18c612-ge
But I also found this online: m1pt-18c612-gd
Maybe the last 2 characters are different revisions
Same here. I want that additional light by the phone charging area. Do you think we can splice into the wire for the cup holder so that it can light up both the cup holder and that bar?
After I put in the subwoofer, the B&O sound system in my Bronco Sport sounds just as good as the B&O sound systems in a $150k Audi SUV that I've sat in and heard myself! Sounds like 90% of that at 1/3 of the cost of the car!
I didn't have any issue with the highs or mids or midbass, that was...
Got my JL Audio Sub installed, sounds awesome, it's small enough and blends really well with the existing B&O system. Bass is nice and smooth. Fills in the low end without being ridiculously loud and doesn't shake the whole car.
I had the exact same issue. 22 Outer Banks with the Moonroof. What I ended up doing was putting additional felt pads on the wind deflector so that it really pushes down close and does not creak. Also, I pushed and nudged on each part of the moonroof frame to see what was creaking, and then put...
Despite all of the tuning and turning up the bass in the settings, the sound wasn't enough for me, so I have time scheduled with a local installer to install a powered JL Audio subwoofer. Should sound much better for the type of music that I listen to. ?
Anyone have any write ups or pictures of how to take apart the rear right panel in the cargo area so that I can get to the subwoofer wiring? I don't even know where to start pulling panels lol
