It is not normal and Ford is aware of it and it also affects the Escape models. There is a Technical Service Bulletin from Ford that addresses this problem. I had the issue from the first day that I received my 2021 Badlands and finally had the replacement parts installed by my dealership last...
Finally, after advising the dealership of the squealing rear brake problem a year ago and then waiting two and a half months for the parts after the Ford TSB announcement, my 2021 Badlands Bronco Sport had the repair parts installed yesterday. After trying numerous times this morning in the damp...
After waiting two and a half months for the parts, I was notified last week that they have arrived. My 2021 Rapid Red Badlands arrived at the dealership tonight for its appointment tomorrow morning to install them.
I've had my Badlands for almost a year now. I've been keeping check on both the rotors and the brake pads and so far have not found and damage or excessive wear to either. The brake squeal is also known to occur mainly in humid/wet and cold conditions and when the vehicle is being operated in...
FYI - even though there is a TSB for the brake squeal (it is a known problem to Ford) the parts for the fix are on back order and aren't expected to be available until sometime in early February at best.
If your 2023my Bronco Sport hasn't been built yet it won't be affected by the recall since injectors in question were taken out of production on 10/17/2022 and have been redesigned.
I knew before it was even delivered that my Maverick wasn't going to have an engine cover. My Badlands came with one, so I got the parts and installed it on the Maverick shortly after I took delivery. Used my Ford Pass points for the parts and had it installed in under 15 minutes.

I had the same issue when I had my 2019 Escape Titanium. It turns out that if the battery is defective and doesn't hold the proper charge the first thing to be disabled is the auto start/stop. When the dealership replaced the battery under warranty the issue went away and everything worked as it...
Actually, yes you can. You have to enable the Alexa FordPass skill. Once you have done that, all you have to do is say "Alexa, ask FordPass to start my car with PIN xxxx."
Ford stopped putting the engine covers on the 1.5L engines in May of 2021 and stopped putting them on the 2.0L engines at the end of the 2021MY, so no Bronco Sports, Mavericks, Escapes, or Corsairs will be delivered with an engine cover. It doesn't mean that you can't buy it and put it on...
If you also replaced your brake lights, as strange as it may seem, check to make sure that they are working to full brightness. I had one of the brake light led's fail, which caused the directional on the dash to hyperflash. In my case, the led bulb "looked" like it was working, but was not at...
The tail lights are LED from the factory and that is all. The turn signals, brake lights, and back up lights are halogen and need to be replaced if you want all LED's.
