Yeah when I first saw the 2-door red version I was like "Ok, maybe it's time to trade in the Jeep." Then I realized nope! No way to order for me :frown:
At least the red is not limited so who knows? Maybe in another year or three I can look into ordering.
In my opinion this is not a generation thing, though as we get older we do like to call out the youths!
As evidence to support my opinion, I give the the Pet Rock from the 70's and Cabbage Patch dolls from the 80's. I imagine there are many other things that could be called out.
I have doubts about the information they gave you. When ours shipped I swung by the dealer and got a look at the visibility report. It showed the railcar location in Alabama (We are in Austin area) and that the railcar left the plant and showed up in Alabama 2 days later.... Anyways for whatever...
This might help. I sent this to our salesperson to confirm it applied to our order. No pushback at all, but was noted the 1k off was only good if taking delivery before July 7th, 2022.
Serious question, do any of the dealerships have a way to track truck pickups and deliveries? I have purchased from 4 different dealers, all different brands, and none of them knew when the trucks would arrive or what would be on the truck.
Difference of opinion I guess. Porsche I consider high end luxury. Jeeps and Corvettes not so much, even if they are charging high end prices these days.
Heh, I threw that in as a bit more tongue and cheek. And it's not like I will follow my own advice. I have been toying with the idea of ordering a VW ID.Buzz when they become available in the States. Why? Because I am a silly person and fancy the idea of owning a hippie van in my older years.
Here are the ramblings of a bored middle aged dude on a Friday.
Full disclosure, my wife is the one who owns a Bronco Sport. I have not, nor would I ever be in the market for this type of vehicle. To me, near all of them should just be named "Generic_Compact_SUV." I have no love for Ford and...
And production will start around the end of October. Given what we have seen since the launch you are very likely to be waiting a few months once production begins.
I am no expert on these things, but I think at best MY23 might see a new color and have one removed. Highly unlikely there will be...
This pissed me off to no end when I owned a Miata, had more than a few people ding one side or another. Sorry this happened to you :frown:
Did get my revenge with my Jeep though. Put on some rock sliders that extend out a little passed the door. Every now and again I spot a bit of paint on the...
United Road may not show anything, all depends if they are being used to haul it. Regarding tracker, you might want to try an older email or something. The last email my wife got would go to a busted screen, but using the link from a previous email worked. No idea if that will help but worth a shot.
That thread is a riot, though I question the call out of GenX. Probably because I am GenX and biased! I never felt instant gratification was a GenX trait, we are used to disappointment and being forgotten.
Which appears to line up perfectly with the ordering experience from Ford
You should be price protected to whatever the original amount was. Some people run into trouble getting dealer to honor it, others no problems. My wife had no problems with price protection and also got the 1k off deal for vehicles ordered. I want to say that 1k off was offered around April and...
