Interested in joining you guys! Just placed a deposit down today on a 2022 Bronco Sports Badlands. Alto Blue, the 17" carbonized grey option rims, premium package, trailer package, copilot 360+. Was told it'll probably be a June 2022 delivery, patiently awaiting to get a VIN and start tracking when it might be delivered.

Welcome to the room where time stands still (or so it seems). Sounds like a sweet build you put together.

Looks amazing!! And in that no longer available color too!!
My original order was on 3/11 with an original build week of 4/18, then 5/11, and finally 06/14. It was finally shipped on 10/05 and arrived at the dealer on 10/25. There it then sat again waiting on the parts for the FDM recall. Recall was finally completed on 12/02 and I finally took delivery on 12/09. The really good thing about all of the delays however is, I got more money for my trade in by the time I got the Bronco Sport. Only reason I stuck with it was because the Rapid Red wasn't available in the 2022MY, and I'm glad that I did now that I see it in person.

What an ordeal to get it. Not only did you suffer the lot rot sit forever debacle but then the FDM recall after that! But look at it now with that discontinued color! Now a new journey to enjoy that awesome machine.

My wife ordered hers on 12/5 and immediately got the order confirmation from Ford. Went by dealer yesterday to see if there was an ETA on Vin, they claim it could be around March before she gets one. Sooooo..... gonna be a bit of a wait. We knew that going in but I kinda expected a VIN earlier than March.

I really did get lucky, I guess timing is everything in life. I ordered mine like what 11/22, had a vin by the next week? Production date was then scheduled for 1/24? Wire to wire it might take me three months to get the car.

I’d imagine you’ll have a VIN by February, he may have meant the car won’t be built until March.

Spoke to my salesman a few days ago. I was originally told on 11/24, when I put a non-refundable deposit on an in-transit unit that my BS would arrive on 11/28.

I’ve been pressing them on why my Bronco is still showing as “in production” (build date shows 6/15) if it was shipped and expected to arrive on 11/28. They are swearing up and down that the car is at the rail yard awaiting a truck to bring it to the dealership.

When I asked about the brake recall that caused a stop-ship at the plant and if that was the reason for the delay, he claimed he had never heard of such a thing. Which is cute because there have been multiple articles in the national news about it.

Its pretty obvious I’m being given the run-around and they’re lying straight to my face. I have never had a worse experience with a car manufacturer and dealership than I’ve had with Ford.

I regret ever selling my MOPAR.
