Ordered my OBX 9/9, confirmed 9/14, build week 11/8 on 10/22, sticker 11/26, built 12/7. Dealer checked the visibility report Thurs, which had not been updated since 12/10, which stated Union Pacific had my vehicle and it was sitting at the border crossing between Nogales Mexico and Nogales, AZ. Visibility did not have a train car #. Dealer is hoping that the Tues update will have more info. Delivery expected 1/6 as of now.
My dealer doesnt know how to find the railcar number either , so i did some searching here, and i found this image. Next week Im gonna take this up and show them. Maybe it will help.
Thanks for the info. My dealer knows how to find it, but Ford hadn't included it on the report. The report said that vehicle was waiting to be transferred to Union Pacific for delivery to the Chicago rail yards. From looking at UP's website, they are very stingy with information on cargo shipments. BNSF seems to be much more user friendly.My dealer doesnt know how to find the railcar number either , so i did some searching here, and i found this image. My original order was on 3/11 with an original build week of 4/18, then 5/11, and finally 06/14. It was finally shipped on 10/05 and arrived at the dealer on 10/25. There it then sat again waiting on the parts for the FDM recall. Recall was finally completed on 12/02 and I finally took delivery on 12/09. The really good thing about all of the delays however is, I got more money for my trade in by the time I got the Bronco Sport. Only reason I stuck with it was because the Rapid Red wasn't available in the 2022MY, and I'm glad that I did now that I see it in person.
What an ordeal to get it. Not only did you suffer the lot rot sit forever debacle but then the FDM recall after that! But look at it now with that discontinued color! Now a new journey to enjoy that awesome machine.
