    Front or Rear Brakes Recall?

I did. Went after work on Monday and picked it up. In a weird way I can’t believe it’s finally mine after thinking I wouldn’t be able to drive it until July. I’ll see y’all around the board. Pics soon.

Batch #2402/#1166 et al. - BSs Stuck in Production

It’s not crazy, it’s normal. Mine was ordered in April 2021 and went into production in June. I’m picking it up tomorrow.

    Front or Rear Brakes Recall?

Agreed. I’m guessing they used whatever solution they used for the 2022 models to remedy the recall on models still at the factory. There’s hardly a difference between 2021 and 2022 models so for 2022 brake parts to not be compatible with the 2021s wouldn’t make any sense. The quarter 2 talk...

    Front or Rear Brakes Recall?

When did yours ship? Just checked again and my recall is still gone on both FordPass and NHTSA. Mine shipped 1/3, which is almost 2 months after the final chip it needed was installed (11/14). Recall was issued 11/23. Starting to think Whitenight is correct and they fixed the ones that were...

    Front or Rear Brakes Recall?

Interesting. I wonder if the recall is still showing for those whose units shipped before November.

    Front or Rear Brakes Recall?

Did they give an explanation? This seems really strange. Wonder if it’s some kind of database error, or if Ford reasoned with the NHTSA to allow the remaining 2021s to be taken off the lots since they didn’t issue a stop driving notice. Or if they just said “screw it we don’t know how to fix this”.

    Front or Rear Brakes Recall?

Interesting development. The FordPass app, the NHTSA site, and the Ford website are no longer showing a recall for my VIN. Anyone else?

6% under invoice on 2022 Bronco Sport

Yeah, no kidding. What do you know about the timeline of getting the remaining 2021s hit with the recall off the lots?

    Front or Rear Brakes Recall?

What’s the difference between 2021s and 2022s in this regard? What are they doing differently for the 2022s that they didn’t do for the 2021s that led to the recall, and why can’t they just replicate that?

Need a Ford Motor Company supervisor to reach out

I tagged the Ford Motor Company account in a post about this weeks ago and they ignored it. Anyways I feel for you guys, mine was built in June so by the time I get it, it will be over a year old. You know what’s ridiculous about all this? It’s perfectly legal for dealerships to sell USED...

    Front or Rear Brakes Recall?

Yeah that guy with the Badlands is in here posting bad info. As for Ford not letting us take our cars, there’s literally nothing they can do. It’s federal law. And the recall wasn’t even discovered/issued by Ford. It was the NHTSA. It sucks but there’s nothing to do but either wait or move on...

    Front or Rear Brakes Recall?

August? Yeesh. First time I’ve heard that. I was told late May/early June.

Because he’s just parroting what Ford says when you look up the recall - that there is no remedy and parts aren’t expected until quarter 2. @Ford Motor Company - No recall remedies for several months, correct?

Just spoke to salesman. Brake recall parts likely won’t be available until June. This is crazy.

My status just updated to Delivered. It showed up 5 days ahead of the ETA on the tracker. Have not yet been called by the dealership but assume they will tell me it has to sit until the recall is fixed.

Bronco Sport tries to off road Can’t off road that’s the story

Right. Goes back to what I was saying. These things can’t do anything beyond what a CRV can do. They are cars marketed as Broncos.
