Sync 3.4 Build 22251 Default Issue

I dont belive i downloaded all three....oh well screwed now.
If you actually did not download the License File you are correct you cannot go back to the Ford website and download Nav 2 22 again.

You can look around your Computer to see if you can find that License file and if you find it just copy from your Computer to the USB Drive SyncMyRide folder.

If you cannot find the License file, my suggestion is to call Fords SYNC3 Connected Services Team:
+1 (833) 389-0848

That number is for lots of things not just Sync and Nav but ask to get a Case # created because you were unable to download the License file. Then ask to be connected to an Escalation Specialist. This guy was super helpful to me for Nav 2 20 when Ford had a defect in the 2 20 download:

He was able to get management approval to have the Nav USB Device mailed to me at no cost to me. It actually took Ford’s vendor 3 times to fix the defect, twice they mailed me identical USB contents so now I have 3 USB Devices from Ford. I diagnosed exactly what the defect was, told Danial that and he got the vendor to fix the defect and the 3rd USB Device I was sent worked.

I will try, if it doesn't pan out i will just have to purchase the USB.

I bought the Ford USB. I downloaded the 23188 easily but always had a problem with the map update in a '19 Ranger I owned.

I bought the Ford USB. I downloaded the 23188 easily but always had a problem with the map update in my '19 Ranger.
Could it be they want us to buy the USB? :piggybank:

I am dealing with the Canadian Ford team, your info is the US side, but agin thanks for the start in the right direction.

That was super quick!! That Ford customer service # has always been super helpful to me in the US.
Canadians are fast. Trying to stay ahead of our American neighbours.;)
The Ford Canada customer service is great as well.

I kept getting a PKG_ERR03. Somehow my install got corrupted and it was the USB from Ford for the NAV 2 22. I also got escalated to a Ford Technology Center Specialist. They are refunding my cost for the subscription(without losing the 5 years), sent me a recovery file to download (will completely remove my Nav, GraceNotes, Voice (wasn't working anyway)..System stated Maps were updated but no voice commands or grace note update. They were very helpful as well. Will not use recovery file until I have the new USB Stick

Make sure you are on Sync 3.4.23188 or later before installing Nav 2 22. Will make the Nav install much smoother

Can’t hurt. But if it says you are on 23188 then you’re good to go.
