I know it’s nothing like you see up north, but then again we don’t have a snow plow in sight. We got about 2” of sleet, ice fog and snow Saturday night along with temps in the teens at night and mid 20s in the daytime. We’re still in the deep freeze and traffic has been nonexistent on our narrow county road.
That made our driveway a 200’ long sheet of ice since it was sunny in the daytime which melted some of the ice before freezing solid again at night.
Our driveway tilts down from the county road about 2’ to our garage where I park the bronco. The bronco handled the incline surprisingly well in slippery mode.
We still had 2 miles of this to the nearest clear road and passed a couple tire marks where people slid off of the side of the road.
all three of our vehicles are 4 wheel drive, but the Cherokee and F150 don’t have the drive modes the bronco has. It feels more sure-footed than either in these conditions.
