I want to new chunky tires for my 23 OB. I also prefer the white letters out. What tires and size for an improved look on pavement all-weather tires. Or am I stuck with boring? And how is the mileage recalibrated - is this done at the dealership service dept?

A lot of people including myself have gone the “All-Terrain” tire route for bigger and chunky tires. As far as speedo recalibration goes, my dealership does not do them. I took it to a local 4x4 shop who did it for me through Forscan. I’m assuming it isn’t that hard to do and can probably be done at home.

The shop only charged me like $35 if I remember correctly and that was only because they needed time to do it.

Can be done with FORScan
Change default parameters for tire size (i.e. when tires are changed out to a different size)
Example ECU settings for:
22565R17: 2202
24565R17: 2232
Bandlands, Falken Wildtrak AT3W (245/65/17) tire circumference: 2354mm (original value 2202)
