With my sport having the white letters on green I liked the white on black on the tires, kinda looks like a matchbox car, I'd like a very minor lift, like 1 to 1.5 inch
I love that color green. Mine is the cactus green.

I had my BSOB offroad last week for the first time. It did reasonably well but nothing like my IH Scout II. The baby bronco has the factory Michelin all season tires. Will the 245's fit without a lift?
On Bronco Sports with 17” rims, 245/65 fit with no modifications needed. (Some have claimed to go bigger) However with an OB I would assume you have the 18” rims which will change what you can fit without modifications. I think the 30 in tires is about all that can be squeezed into those wheel wells.
Also fyi since the Bronco Sport is a unibody vehicle, a lift doesn’t really change what you can fit. The limiting factor seems to be a pinch weld that the tires rub when they get too large.

A BFH would take care of the pinch weld. I would probably go with a 1.5 in. lift when I'm ready for tires. That's what I like to do, go out to a remote place to go shooting.

Potentially. Personally, I wouldn’t do anything to modify the body due to it being a unibody vehicle and structural integrity could be compromised. Not sure if doing anything to the pinch weld would cause such issues but I’m a scaredy cat when it comes to that stuff.

when going to a larger tire - did fuel economy take a hit ?

We went up one size & did not notice any change in the gas mileage.

Did you recalibrate the speedo for the larger circumference? From 235/65 to 245/65, speedo (& odo) will show an additional 1.1 km at 60km/h without recalibration.

It also might be worth noting that if you rely on the Bronco’s mpg readout (which is only close enough for government work), any induced errors will propagate to there as well. The only way to accurately measure fuel economy is calculating by hand. Then again, if the recorded mileage traveled between fillups is incorrect, then you still can’t rely on the results.

At the end of the day, it’s probably only a 1-2% net difference going up one size. Pretty inconsequential, really.

I got a slight decrease going from 225/65 to 245/65 but not substantial. I had my speedo recalibrated to account for the larger tire diameter as well.
