The Bad rattles and Noises in the dash, the fuel gage that no longer registered full when filled up, the system off to save battery that comes up at least once a week and all the recalls i was done with it. Got in a New 2025 Maverick XLT AWD 2.0 Eco Boost for only $12.33 a month more than the BS and the Insurance is 74 cents Cheaper over 6 months than the BS.

But now we will never know the cause of the rattles
Have fun in the Mav … it’s what you wanted
True but if i would have taken it in and they wouldn't have found the problem i would have really been upset. And i wouldn't have wanted to keep taking it back until they found the problem. On the way to the Dealership to pick up the Maverick on a smooth road the Dash was Rattling. It is what i wanted and should have found one when i got the BS since i had an F-150 before the BS. The only thing so far about the Maverick i don't like is it has no Tachometer not sure why they would delete that.

Late to the party but do you think the rattling could have been this?
I love my sport but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t eye ball some of the mavericks I’ve been seeing around town lol happy for ya!

There are a lot of Mavericks around here. There are times I miss my pick up. The trailer isn’t as easy to just grab and go. I will say though, I have fewer friends asking me to help with deliveries or moving. Good luck. Hopefully your pet snake doesn’t return to your Maverick dash!

I thought long and hard about a Maverick. I couldn't justify getting rid of the Badlands and eating all the depreciation. Good luck with your new ride, Mark!
Yep. I’m upside down 10k ? hahah I’m not a fiscally smart man but I know I’m sticking this through and far beyond. Never getting a brand new vehicle again

Enjoy the Maverick!

Considering the close relationship between the Maverick and Sport, I’m curious why you didn’t move to a different brand instead?

Could have been part of the Problem. When he said in the Video when he pushed down on that piece the rattle went away. Sunday i pushed down on that piece and some of the noise went away. Pushed on it again in the same spot and it made no difference. And sometimes the noise was coming from the plastic vents up by the Windshield.

I had a 2021 F-150 before the BS and missed a Truck bed. Especially last Year when i had to ask the Neighbor across the street to haul mulch for me I forgot to mention the Ford Employee Pricing they're offering for everyone was a plus.

See Post 13 and the BS is the only Ford i've owned with the Problems and recalls the BS had. And there's really not many other Vehicles in the Mavericks class. And FWIW on another website i go on there were guys on there that were Mechanics at Ford Dealerships and said they hardly ever see Mavericks in for anything besides Oil Changes and Tire Rotations.

I don’t think I could have given up my F150 either without having a utility trailer. It’s biggest issue is it wasn’t even considered a 1/2 ton so I ended up getting a trailer which in the end was better because I didn’t care what I put in the trailer. I typically get fresh loads of mulch and I will say, I liked getting it out of the trailer more so than the truck. I do miss the old Lightning for the silky smooth V8. I probably should have kept it but the stable can only hold so many vehicles. Good luck with the Maverick.
