  1. FordPass App Shuts Down

It’s not the stop/start. If you don’t drive for a while, the vehicle shuts down the remote interaction with the app to conserve battery. Everything will be available as normal when you go for a drive. Edit: my response is based on the thread title. In some conditions the stop/start won’t work...
  2. Should I Trade my 2022 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend for a 2025 FBSBB

For sure! I'm suggesting it as a starting point to ensure one does not accept a extremely low offer from the dealer. Important to remember that selling your car and buying a new one are in fact two transactions, so it's best to be very sure about what money is going where.
  3. 1.5L MPG data for a few weeks (2022 Bronco Sport Big Bend)

Tracking mpg is useful, as it can help you spot potential issues. However, I find it's easier to use something like fuelly vs a spreadsheet. You can enter notes and other info, plus see what mpg others have. And it's free
  4. Should I Trade my 2022 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend for a 2025 FBSBB

Doubtful. Get an estimate from CarMax or Carvana before you talk to the dealer. Financially you are much better off keeping what you have.
  5. Trip Report: Bronco Off-Roadeo Moab October 2025 (Long Post)

Nice report! In Moab, we stayed at Westside Flats. Great location and the full kitchen meant we had much more control over meals.
  6. Bronco Off-Roadeo Moab October 24, 2025

Looking forward to your report! We certainly had a great time earlier this year. I like your dash seeming to tell you that if you hit 140 mph, BRAKE! šŸ˜†
  7. Clanking sound while driving in gravel

Maybe you have a rock that got in somewhere and only makes noise when bounced around on rough surfaces.
  8. Ripoff alert

Even in Phoenix, the humidity levels are above 0%, so over time you will have water absorbed into the fluid. The brakes are a critical safety system, so for me doing the preventative maintenance on a regular schedule is worth the expense. If you want to extend the flush interval, at least...
  9. Ripoff alert

Brake fluid should be changed every few years regardless of miles. It’s hygroscopic, I,e. It absorbs water. It’s no secret that dealers pad their profits with crazy service prices. Find a good independent shop and avoid the dealer unless you need a warranty or recall fix.
  10. Farewell to our 2023 Outer banks Bronco sport

    Jeep 😬 Good luck!
  11. Wet roads

I would have someone check your tires and alignment. I’ve got 20k mile on my OEM Falkens, and last weekend I was in very heavy rain and did not experience any traction issues. Same with some light snow driving last winter.
  12. Wet roads

What do you mean by "feels strange"? What tires do you have and how many miles on them?
  13. Stick-on Dash Cam Mount

If you put it there the car will be fun but you’ll block your own view. Why not put up higher on the passenger side? Dash cams have a very wide view so it will capture everything.
  14. Only 3 wheels turns on the 2 post lift

You’re probably confusing the traction control by running it in drive with all wheels off the ground. In a low grip situation, it will try to send power to the wheel(s) with grip and apply brakes to the others.
  15. Anyone else into RC?

I’m not sure if Tamiya has a chassis that has alternative motor locations. The M-08 and others let you adjust the wheelbase. I previously built a MST TCR-M and that is fully configurable for wheelbase and motor position.
  16. Anyone else into RC?

The M-08 is mid-motor, though I think other M variants have the motors in different places.
  17. Anyone else into RC?

Oh, I’ve also got a CC-02 Bronco that will be my next build.
  18. Anyone else into RC?

Thanks! Yes, it’s an M-08 set to the shortest wheelbase. I ran it briefly with a brushless setup and it was nearly impossible to control 😁 Body from Phat Bodies. I think Tamiya just rereleased their 1/10 Mini Cooper.
