That sounds like a great idea. The only issue I see would be that the added weight might be too much for the fasteners that hold up the liners.
They do however hold water, snow, slush and ice as is, so it might not be a problem.
Or possibly a few coats of spray paint? If you could get a...
You should keep checking it. The problem is it shouldnāt have been empty, since itās a closed system. It might be wise to have a mechanic check it out, or the dealer if itās under warranty.
Also, donāt over fill the reservoir, only to the mid level between low and full.
It was on the invoice. Iām assuming they did, but I didnāt watch them.
The service writer said the latest one should be goodā¦.
I have since traded it in.
Bob, do you mind sharing info for this mobile body guy? Not sure where you are located, but if you happen to be anywhere near me (out west) Iād love to know someone good if I ever need them.
or pm me if you prefer. Thanks
4th timer here. In 8000 miles. I bought mine with 14,000 miles on it, God only knows how many may have been replaced before I bought it. The first two pumps showed very slow lowering of coolant level in the reservoir. The last two I didnāt notice any change, the dealer said they needed to...
I'm sure you'll like them. I know they were an option when ordering the Sports, at least in 2022. You don't hear much about them on this forum, but they seem to be an excellent choice IMO.
Don't forget to get a wheel alignment done if it's been over a year since your last one.
They are 225/65R17. I got them for less than $800 installed from Walmart.
I ordered them online, shipped free to the local store.
I didn't realize you were in Canada, I guess you could have them shipped if you don't have Walmarts there.
I was looking at Falken A/T trails, but the Maxxis Razr...
Take a look at Maxxis Razr all terrain. They are by far the best tires for deep snow I've ever used. I had them on my Sport and liked them so much I just got a set for my new RAV4. Traction is excellent in heavy rain and snow, and they're just fine for dry roads high or low speed driving.
Welcome Georege, thatās a fine looking car. Youāll find this a friendly and helpful group.
All my grandparents came from Czechoslovakia about a century ago to the U. S. Iām glad to see another certified Czech here. I traded in my Sport so I donāt post much anymore, but still find the forum...
To all you LE guys, gals and spouses, as much crap as you hear from the crazy minority and media, know that the vast majority of Americans are behind you one hundred percent and appreciate all you do, and what you have gone through in recent years is disgraceful. Stay safe.
Youāre not the first person here that said the tech left the red cap off the terminal. I had to replace mine too when the dealer tech left it off.
A mobile tech came out when they had the original battery software update recall, apparently didnāt do it right, so I had to take it in later for...
What donāt you like about the Goodyears? They look aggressive and are fairly quiet from what Iāve read here. Not that I care for Goodyear, since they moved out of Akron. I grew up near there and they used to fly the old giant blimps around all the time. But Iāve only heard good things about...
Trickle chargers work well. Newer ones turn on and off as needed. I'm not sure with low powered ones if you need ventilation in an enclosed space. I have a one amp Noco charger that I use, but only outside the garage, as our furnace is in the garage. Batteries will put out flammable gases...
