Is that dealer specific? Earlier in the thread someone said they had it done in their driveway and the sheet they handed me about mobile service had software/computer updates as a listed service at home.
The official document that was sent to Ford dealers (see post #62) mentioned this is not supposed to be a mobile repair:

Ford Bronco Sport Recall: Instrument Cluster Panel Display Failure (NHTSA Recall 25V788) -- 2025-2026 Bronco Sport 1765563509124-zr

Which again, I think it is silly, but that is what it says. I am guessing some dealers are not reading this carefully and offering mobile service for it anyway.

Took mine in yesterday morning. I was told typically it's a 45 minute job if lucky, however they have been seeing a lot take much longer.....an hour to hour and half. Mine took almost 3 hours. The first attempt at the update failed immediately. Thankfully no other issues. So for anyone going in plan for a good 3 hours just to be safe.

I had this done on the 11th but my recall status still says incomplete in the app and on the NTSB site.

I had mine done on 12/08 and just checked the NTSB site ... it now shows no outstanding recalls pending. I checked it on Thursday and it was still open, so it took a while to update.

I had mine done Wednesday and today the app is still showing the recall needs to be done..

This is the first recall for the 2025s and I know the older ones have had several.
Second. But the other wasn't for the vehicle itself, but the add on block warmer that not a lot of people have. Mostly people in Canada, and some of the cold states.

Started software update at 9 this morning. Picked up at 2. Noticed oil life showing 3%. It was 80% before the update. The software gremlins did not back up data before updating the software. Took it back. Dealer says now seeing battery voltage issue. 2nd and 3rd update attempts fail. Vehicle left overnight at dealer. Stay tuned. I am so not impressed.

Just got back from Sanderson. The update took about an hour, and with the “Works” service (oil/filter/rotation/fluids/etc.) it was right at two hours end-to-end, (including sitting over a half-hour finished and forlorn in the ready lot).

Oil life reset properly, MyView screen reset to factory as expected. Ford app hasn’t updated yet for either the recall or maintenance. Not going to sweat that unless we get to Monday and it’s still not showing.

With my remaining Ford Points it came to $36.50.

Breakfast at the Starliner solid if unexceptional, $12.83 plus tip.

Walked the lot, a fair number of Sports, not a single Sasquatch in either Badlands or Outer Banks trims. Only a few Black Diamonds. Which makes me wonder how many Sasquatch owners bought off the lot versus ordered.

Oh, and one F-150 Raptor, $117,000! Sold, too. A fool and his money…
3 weeks ago my 2025 Badlands Sasquatch came off their lot👍👍👍
