I know you said "feels substantially better than stock," but I was curious if you noticed any issues after driving it few days? Any clunking noises or that the ride is stiffer?Ready Lift 1.5 in installed today. Feels substantially better than stock while driving to me for some reason. 5 year warranty, alignment, and they want me to come back every 1k miles to check on the mountings.
Still feels quite good. No clunking or other noises and is as quiet as the stock setup. Sorry, I don't have any pics. I took it up on some trails for several miles and really like how it feels.I know you said "feels substantially better than stock," but I was curious if you noticed any issues after driving it few days? I was also wondering if anyone had any pictures of both sides of the front strut spacer?
Why is Rough Country bad? Noise? Craftsmanship?only other option is rough country for like $250 but everyone has been saying it’s trash. They can charge whatever they want when there isn’t anything on the market.
There are suspension differences between the BL/FE and other Bronco Sport models, but I don't know how they would affect installation of a lift kit. It's the same exact platform and suspension design, though I believe the Badlands and FE have a factory 1" boost.
It wouldn't as the platform is the same, just the knuckles on the FE/BL are more stout. I'd be shocked if the mounts or actual suspension design is any different. There are suspension differences between the BL/FE and other Bronco Sport models, but I don't know how they would affect installation of a lift kit.
Just some additional information.........The Badlands and First Editions have hydraulic rebound bump stops, they also have 46mm specially tuned rear shocks that the other models dont have.
Edit: The more I read about this vehicle, the more I love...........
These component differences are likely why lift kits designed for the base, OB, & BB models won't work for the BL and FE models.Upgraded 46-millimeter diameter rear monotube shocks are specially tuned for Badlands and First Edition models and further help improve off-road control and comfort.
More compliant front and rear anti-roll bars and springs were selected for the high-capability Badlands and First Edition models to increase off-road articulation.
Hope it works out for you, it did not for me. I had to replace it went with hrg lift. Ready lift sent old parts which they claimed were updated for the strut rattle. They were not. Make sure to inspect parts first. The spacers need cut outs for strut hat and the sway bar link brackets were updated to sit flat in strut housing. I would recommend hrg any day over ready lift. I learned the hard way.plus hrg sends new links for sway bars not brackets that can break.also you can get camber bolts with it and it’s still 100.00 cheaper. And you will need camber bolts for proper alignment. Hope this helps you, here are a few pictures of wrong and right spacers the green ones are hrg you can see it has cut out for top of strut and the black one ready lift which does not. The rattle drove me crazy ?Also getting this lift and new 245/65R17s in the next couple of weeks. Will post pics!
Holy cow, awesome to know. I scheduled the fit a couple weeks out so I’ll see if I can see the parts beforehand. Did you buy directly from HRG?Hope it works out for you, it did not for me.
