After reading a bunch of posts on here in regards to wiring nightmares, I decided to run my trim to an AUX switch.

But, there is an earlier posting on this same thread of someone who ran into the park line, and I believe there are some instructions given on the post.

I did #3 with a small out of sight switch on the steering column. They're on when the engine is unless I want them off.

The side markers are only on when the headlights are. The headlights always have power and the DRL's turn off when using the directionals during the day.
Idk, there where to many variables and to many questions.
I'm glad I went to the fuze box.

Nice! I didn’t want to mess too much with splicing after reading a bunch of wiring horror stories with the BS. Glad it worked out for you!
Hey, how did you make the holes to mount them?

I’m having slight regrets of just doing the 3 lights instead of the 4… looks real nice.
Are you going to put some wire mesh overlay to finish the look?
Can you explain a little bit how you did the drilling please!

I used a drill bit with an electric drill and shaved off the whole. I drilled the hole and then went in circler motions to create the whole to poke the wires threw. The light was the largest circumference to figure out but you'll get it.

Start out small with the holes for the lights and if they won't fit continue to make those holes larger so you can mount the lights properly. I used the four light combo on eBay.

Has anyone with a badlands grill installed raptor/accent lights yet?
Well I can tell you the ones off eBay won’t fit. I ordered some and they arrived today. So now I’m going to try and make my own using some from superbrightleds.com. I’ll let you know how they turn out.

Do you have a Badlands? The ones I received were oval in shape and too large to fit into the openings on the grill. While I’m willing to drill a small hole for a wire I’m not willing to modify the grill such that I’m removing material.

So I decided to go the custom route and buy some individual units that will fit almost perfectly into the openings on the Badlands grill. Now the question is do I install 3 or 4? If I do 3 I would put one dead center and then skip 2 or 3 spaces on either side and then put the others. If I do 4 I would start 1 away from center in each direction and then skip 2 or 3 spaces for the others.

What would you all do? 3 or 4 lights?
