If you cancel the order is will notify that the order has been cancelled...

There is no negative unless the dealer orders both in your name...

However you are not obligated to the order(s) unless you sign for them...
Thanks. I guess I need to talk with them first. I had an initial conversation with one dealer and he said they could not work out pricing until the car arrives but they still wanted a deposit. I see you advocate getting the price up front. Do you have a suggestion on the best approach?

Yes tell the dealership that you want the price up front and signed by management before any money leaves your hand or your sign to order it...

My dealer gave me a print out with the options and total MSRP for my Badlands order. The dealership name is on the form with Priority Code 19 at the top plus some other codes. Only have paid the original $100 res fee, nothing else required & they said no additional markups or addons but full MSRP will be paid. Should I get more verified info, mgmt signatures etc from the dealer regarding my order? I have not signed anything. What does Priority Code 19 mean?

Thanks Granger Ford for all the excellent advice/help you have been giving!

Here are the Florida dealerships, Stephens and Us for pricing to review and use...

So to clarify, the DOC fee is what the dealer is charging on top of the fees we accumulated when making the reservation? Are there other fees to be aware / beware of? What prevents a dealer from adding on a 2-3k fee?

Do you think full MSRP is the norm on a car through the reservation process ? Are you willing to pay it?

Yes they are Documentation fees most are state regulated or in the case of Ford plan limited..

Are there other fees to be aware / beware of?

Sure that is why you get it in writing when you order the vehicle do not wait until it arrives..

What prevents a dealer from adding on a 2-3k fee?

Ford does on the Bronco series...

However they can jack it up with paint protect, lug nuts, etch, tint etc. etc. etc...

Just for clarity we at Granger Ford do not and neither does Stephens Auto Center...

My Ford dealer just called me and said they didn't know when I would be able to convert my reservation to an order and it was looking like November for the Sport? Does this seem accurate?

They can do it in the WBDO right now...

I have many ordered just waiting to get picked up by Ford for their processing...

hmmmm....I'll have to give them a call back and find out more information, maybe they thought that I had ordered the Bronco not the bronco sport...

I contacted one dealer locally and he said to come into the store and he will pit through a custom order instead of a reservation. They want a $1000 deposit but are willing to agree on price ahead of signing. I have no idea what invoice is in Canada but would 3-4% be reasonable of MRSP?

Hi Albert,
My WA dealer sent me a correct spec sheet of my build that says "Priority Code 11", "Order Code 9300", "Prince Level 120" and just shows full MSRP. I asked about X-Plan and he just said Ford hasn't confirmed or released any information on X-Plan. I told him it literally lists Bronco Sport on the FordPartner X-Plan site with pricing by trim, seems pretty concrete to me...

Sorry to be redundant on x-plan but Ford has confirmed correct? And I should ask to changed 11 to 10 on priority?

Best,
Tim

granger Iowa is a bit too far for me in Snohomish WA, esp in winter. so I’m going with Bickford in Snohomish. They honor XPlan.
