X2 Nice T-Bird don't know if i've ever seen one like that before. Is that like a 68-72 Model and if so is it 429 or 460 Powered? Thanks. I got that T-Bird last Summer from the original family. It's a model I've wanted since I was in high school where my shop teacher had one in green. That's the only one I ever saw in person until I got my own.
ThanksBought these from an eBay Seller. Here's this link: CLICK
There are several Sellers with these same Chrome Exhaust Tips.
I tried a couple of different versions that were supposed to be for a curved exhaust pipe, like on our Bronco Sports. Both designs I tried were a PITA to install & never really tightened up like I wanted. Ended up sending both sets back for a refund.
These I bought say they are for a straight exhaust pipe. But it you don't push these on past the bend, they tighten up & stay snug. Seller gave me that advice and he was 'right-on'! Just loosen the bottom screw clamp a little (1 to 1-1/2 turns) and try to push the exhaust tip on. I had to loosen one of the side screw clamps (I recommend the outboard screw clamp which is much easier to tighten afterwards) just a half turn or so to get mine to slide on. Tightening them up was 'easy-peasy' afterwards.
