I had the last TSB performed in (I think) April and it was better for one day and then got significantly worse than before it was done. It now moans every single time I back up, regardless of conditions, and Iām pretty sure itās louder. The service advisor helping me said he would wait until...
Iāve gotten two new windshields (first replacement unbelievably got hit by a rock less than 24 hours after installation) and both were OEM. I have complete glass coverage with no deductible, so I was glad to get OEM. I probably would have paid the difference if insurance only covered...
I had reported the problem before my regular warranty expired, and just as they were about to try the TSB that was active at that time, Ford issued a stop order. So I did have it on record as a pre-existing issue.
I was able to get the TSB before this current one done on my 2022 Badlands on...
Oh, for Peteās sake, I had the previous one done on April 3 and it didnāt work. I wonder if I should go back for this one? Whatās different about it from the last one?
I finally had it done on April 3 ā the moan had gotten ridiculously awful. Sadly, it doesnāt seem to have made a difference; after a couple of days, the wailing cow was back at nearly the same level. At least the service advisor made sure I didnāt have to pay for it. Iām debating whether to even...
I had the very latest TSB (updated just a few weeks ago with a new part) done on April 3. Iām super disappointed to report it hasnāt made much if any difference.
Iāll just have to wait until I need to replace the brakes and try the ceramic suggestion then. Until then, itās wailing cows, sigh.
Mine has gotten worse and happens more frequently. I had an appointment for the TSB last June and it got canceled because Ford put a stop order on it in anticipation of a fall update. My BS is now out of warranty, so I guess I get to fight with them that this should still be covered since I made...
Well, the last three starts since this morning havenāt shown any notifications, knock on wood. But it IS that part number mentioned. So Iāll have to just keep an eye on it and see if itāll be fine until the remedy is ready.
My ā22 Badlands got the recall notice but today a ācharging system service soonā notification popped up. Iām out of warranty and would normally go to my local shop that I use, but should I instead go to the dealer in hopes that if this is related to the recall, Iāll get reimbursed eventually...
When I bought my Ford Ranger in 2001, I went to a dealer that didnāt have any with the options I wanted, but the salesman tried to convince me I would be happy with one of models they had on the lot. He lost me entirely when he said I really wouldnāt be happy with the Edge package I said I...
Thatās exactly where I went (Americaās Tire, which is what Discount Tire is called here). I should have been more insistent and not just accepted the guy punching in the model and typical use to pull up the options.
Those look so nice! When I replaced my tires in October, I tried to explain to the guy that I wanted something beefy, but he stuck with what the computer told him would suit my needs, since I don't really do off-roading. So boring is what I ended up with.
My eligibility for my 2022 BS expires at the end of this year ā I assume I would actually have to attend by the end of the year, not just register before then?
My 2021 was totaled five months after I got it, replaced four months later with a 2022. My 2022 does have the pencil holder and the hatch release button. I really do miss the temp display on the control knob, though.
This is what Iām concerned about ā I took mine in for the previous TSB and they literally got the parts delivered right as the stop order was issued. Iāve since passed the warranty mileage, so I assume Iāll have to fight with them over it. The moaning has gotten worse, too, doing it more often...
Ohhhh, thatās what Iām considering once my ā22 Sport is paid off next year. I have a 2002 Ranger Edge thatās at 320,000 miles and Iām eyeing replacing it with a Maverick.
I wish theyād make it so I can use Siri to start the vehicle. That would be huge when Iām walking to the parking lot late at night instead of having to take out my phone or fiddle with my Watch.
Thereās a stop order on the most recent TSB, so they canāt even do it if they were willing. A new fix is supposed to be issued in the fall (which will come too late for me since Iāll likely pass 36,000 miles and be out of warranty by then).
My howl has gotten worse and now happens a lot more...
My brother installed mine and something must have shifted because when I open the rear passenger door, the molding āpopsā on the edge of the front door. He said he can just trim that edge to fix it ā no need to try to move the molding, much less CHANGE THE DOOR ALIGNMENT. Itās wild they thought...
