I had the opportunity to get my 2021 Bronco Sport in to a local Ford Service Center near me to inspect the steering & front suspension system for any equipment issues that could cause the 'loose play' I was experiencing. Turns out the Bronco Sport is AOK, with everything working as designed...
I've got the same issue that has recently surfaced on my 2021 Outer Banks (just under 36k on the ODO). I'll be driving around town & the Bronco Sport will all of a sudden want to dart to the right. Was planning a short trip for a few days next week & I'll be driving something else.
Last week I got a call from the Ford Service Advisor that the compressor on back order arrived and they were ready to complete repairs on the HVAC system in the 2021 Bronco Sport. Took the Bronco Sport in on MON, 09/29 for an early service appt. They called me around 4 PM and said everything...
I was told by the Service Advisor that the Service Tech said there was no signal emitting from the HVAC Control Module. Here's what the Service Tech performed during his diagnostics:
'VEHICLE CAME IN WITH THE A/C WAS INOPERATIVE. FDRS HOOK UP AND RETRIEVED FAULT CODES. NO FAULT CODES PRESENT...
I went back & traced the history on this HVAC failure on the Outer Banks. Turns out I got a call from a Ford Service Dept that I normally use wanting to know if I wanted a couple of outstanding Recalls taken care of at my house. They would send out a Mobile Tech to perform the work. That work...
Well the Ford Service Tech installed the new HVAC Control Module but the system still only blows hot air. Now they say there is a signal to the Compressor (which didn't exist before) but they suspect the compressor is bad. And according to the Service Dept, the compressor is on back order, so...
On SAT, AUG 30, the HVAC System in my 2021 Bronco Sport Outer Banks stopped blowing cool air. AC light was on, but all the air flow was warm. Everything else within the HVAC Control Module seemed to be working correctly, just no cold air. Finally got an appointment to have the system checked...
1995 Jeep Wrangler Rio Grande
2006 F-150 STX 4x4 Flareside
2007 Chrysler Crossfire Limited Coupe
2016 VW Beetle Dune Hatchback
Needless to say, not all of these are in my garage!
A little more info on the GOAT Mode Switch in my 2021 Bronco Sport.
Turns out whenever I start the Bronco Sport, the GOAT Mode is NORMAL. So I turn it 1 Click Clockwise & It puts the drive mode into ECO. Let's say I stop, shutoff the Bronco Sport and go run whatever errands I want to do...
Noticed today that the GOAT Modes Selection Knob in my 2021 Outer Banks seems to 'free-wheel' when I try to select a driving mode. I thought I remembered the knob having a hard stop at the end of selection options. My knob will select a mode but it also 'free-wheels' (i.e., there is no hard stop...

Found my issue on another Thread in the Forum. Apparently, I've hit the liftgate unlock button on the Key Fob & disconnected the Passive Connect Function. I pressed the Liftgate Unlock Button on the Key Fob twice like it shows & the Passive Connect Function once again works!
Within the past week or so, the unlock button on the Hatch Door stopped connecting with my Key Fob. The Key Fob still unlocks the Rear Hatch Window just be approaching the Rear Hatch & pressing the Window Button to release the latch. But the button for unlocking the Door doesn't work unless I...
I've already had the Recall 24S24 BCM/PCM Programming completed in my driveway by a Ford Tech. I read nowhere that Ford was going to just install a new battery. They plan to inspect the battery and decide if it needs to be changed. But I do know that Ford has stressed to owners of these...
While I was under the hood with the battery change this morning, I noticed that the engine cover looked like it had tilted towards the front of the motor. Sure enough, it had come loose from the rear mounting pin. I know that the 2.0 liter cover has 4 mounting pins, while the 1.5 liter has...
I took the time this morning to replace the battery in my 2021 Bronco Sport 1.5L. Didn't want to wait for Ford to recall my Bronco Sport (it is on the list) for the battery issue. Turns out the battery in my Bronco Sport was manufactured in China and is apparently a POS. Ford plans to...
The Bronco Sport is parked on the slope of my driveway so it isn't sitting level. But I'll take a look tomorrow, if the weather cooperates. Thanks for the 'heads up'.
