Finally sucess!!! I found the culprit of the incessant rattle in the rear hatch area that manifested after about 1000 miles, Probably wasn't the only culprit but it was the final one. Sweet sweet silence!!!

I put some generous dabs of silicone on the inside edges all around and re installed. Did some more foam silencing too. Check out my ride thread.

Put my ’21 BS into shop for 30,000 mile service on 11/12 and had them change fluids in trans, PTU, RDU, brakes. Dealer called me and said they found leaking rear shocks and air filter was marginal. As is common everywhere today they’d have to order parts so wouldn’t have car done ‘til the 13th.
The dealer, Puente Hills Ford, took care of everything and had me out at 1100 on the 13th as promised.
Thanks to extended warranty I only paid for the fluid changes (which at dealer prices was enough <lol>). BS was running fine prior to servicing, and feels even smoother and quieter after putting in fresh fluids, and the ride feels better with new shocks.
Tried to talk them into changing struts and shocks, but my circular logic and pitiful looks weren’t enough to git ‘er done!

@Bill G… I saw Ford has a TSB depicting now much leakage the shock needs to show before it is replaced (like under warranty)

I had no idea they were leaking. Dealer told me that one was leaking while the other was just “seeping” which Ford considered to be “normal”, but that they were replacing both shocks under the extended warranty (I’m a year out of the 3/36 factory warranty) — Ford ok‘d it.

Installed the JCR back hatch Molle panel. Was about to have a fit reinstalling the panel, fought me tooth and nail. In retrospect, I should have used buttonhead fasteners and nut-certs but, in she is. Just ordered new struts and ends to install before I load it up
