It's actually really cool once you set it up. You can lock your keys inside on a hike or simply have access when you forget your keys.
I it’s actually set up, I just haven’t used it. I went through the setup process with my sales person at the dealership when I got it.

So far, no one has been able to get it working on the 2025 model... I used it in my Maverick all the time, and now I don't have it :curse:

Welp, The touchpad will allow me to lock the doors now with the (7\8) (9\0) buttons. I also have a new menu item within the SYNC 4 that will allow me to program my own 5 digit key providing I have the OEM key...But there is no OEM key on the module and the 2 key display on the cluster method displays nothing on the screen. (I must of tried 30 times.) I used ForScan to look in the BCM module to see if there was a place to see the OEM key or program a new key.....so far NO DICE....

Nice feature for the beach. Lock keys inside and not worry about them at the beach or some other venue/event.
Or kayaking, boating, hiking, tubing, biking or any activity where you might lose or damage the fob.

Maybe the backup key slot location is different for 25?

I had to try a few times to get the code. Have to swap keys pretty quickly.

Did you try the code under the dash?

There is a spot for a key but nothing is printed there.
I'll try to swap the key quickly and see if that works. (like I said I tried this at least 30 times)

I finally ordered the parts for my 2024 Bronco Sport last week and will have it installed as soon as I get it. I have this on my 2018 F-150 and 2022 Explorer. I was disappointed it wasn't factory installed on the 24 Bronco

I keep the key FOB in my pocket. I like just walking up to the car and grabbing the door handle and going. I had an 87 Thunderbird that had the keyless entry, and I did not care for it.

Yea almost all new cars do that. The key-less entry pad gives you the ability to lock the keys inside the vehicle so they won't be lost during excursions. For example things like hiking, swimming, jet-skiing, snowmobiling, boating, camping.

A just had the B pillar Keypad trim installed on my 2024, Total cost at the dealer $352.81. Included the free pick-up and delivery. Works great.
