Applicable to 2026 Ford Bronco (full-size) but there is hope Ford will bring back the integrated keyless entry keypad - mounted on the driver's side B-pillar (not a stick-on piece) for other Ford models including future Bronco Sports.

Personally I would not buy another Ford that does not have the integrated keypad feature and I’m sure many other owners feel the same

Just as a note for those interested; you can still buy this part through fords website and have it installed locally. I just had this done to my mom's Bronco two weeks ago as hers didn't come with it and she was jealous that mine had it.

all together cost me ~$385 to have done, labor was around $170, part was $190ish. Only certain dealerships do it however, my local ford was not one so I had to have it installed at a nearby one. not a huge hassle but something to note. Imagine it might be more of a pain if you aren't near a metro area.

Only other thing is the product lists as 2024 models, to my knowledge this should work on other model years as the b pillar hasn't changed? I'm not entirely sure how getting the dealership to install on a non 2024 model year would go however. I got lucky that my mom's is a 24 so wasn't any hassle.

Some 2025 Bronco Sport owners have reported their Ford dealership was unable to get the integrated door pillar keypad to work but I no longer recall if other 2025 (and now 2026) Bronco Sport owners have been successful.

There are many posts on this topic.

our big bend had it and this badlands didn't so i had to add it myself. Ford's accessory website that is linked is where i ordered mine using points. it also says it isn't compatible with badlands/wildtrack. it does require some panel removal as well as the window glass to install. and some forscan programming.

My 2025 Badlands was at the dealership last week trying to get it to work. They said they have it installed and the plug is there but it will not program and they were going to call Ford Tech line to see what needs to be done to get it to work. The only thing it does right now Is light up when you unlock the doors remotely. If you touch the keypad just the top red dot lights up.

Sounds like all you "don't use it"'s are sitting on about $200...

I rarely use it. When I do, it freakin' rocks. I need something but forgot to grab the key, I open it. When we drive somewhere and my wife messages me to bring the key, I message back the code and stay where I am.

I use the one on my F150 all the time, but my 2017 seems to be one of the few years that allow me to lock the door, thrown the key in, and close the door without the locks automatically unlocking. I use it when I go to ride bikes, kayak or anything else that may get the fob wet.

If you get forscan I might be able to walk you through it

I would greatly appreciate that! Thank you so much Tomas!

Were you able to make it functional on yours?

I just have to renew my license for ForScan I already have the OBDLink EX.

Yeah I was. I use it when my wife can't find her key in her purse and I need to grab something from the car all the time. First thing was to enable in forscan. I had to enable in 2 different places. Enable "keypad" under Body Control Module
And "door keypad" in APIM

I first tried using the code that is on the sticker under the passenger dash area but that didn't work. I had to use the key fob method to retrieve securicode.

Retrieving Factory Code with Fobs

Locate the intelligent key backup slot. (Center console pocket where wireless charging area is worked for me)
Place the first programmed fob in the backup slot with the buttons facing down.
Press the Start/Stop button once and wait 4 seconds.
Press the Start/Stop button again and remove the key.
Insert the second programmed fob into the backup slot.
Press the Start/Stop button once and wait 4 seconds.
Press the Start/Stop button again and remove the key.
The factory-set code will appear in the information display briefly. It may not display until after other warning messages have been displayed first.

It took a few tries with this method but it will work. Page 10 of my ride thread may have more info

I like this feature so much I added the stick-on version to my Transit too. Surprising that other automakers haven't adopted it.

For about the first two years I never used it. Then I set a custom code I could remember, and now I use it almost daily. Saves me a ton of trips back into the house or office to retrieve my keys, when I just need to grab my glasses.

I can also hide the key in a mylar bag and lock it in the car while I go on a bike ride.

Did you notice if the code on the module (under the passenger side kick panel) and the one that appears in the cluster match?
