Ford Bronco Sport Junk In Your Trunk - What's Under Your Cargo Mat? 70628798844__3DD735F2-0818-4AA4-8466-9BFF63249CC4

A first pass in my new outer banks. The funnel, flags, vest, cables w/ jaws wrapped in cloth, straps on wheel, bungee cords and zip-ties in plastic bag, gloves, an old fitted sheet to use when putting straw bales in the back.

Mine's boring for now, but I'm adding things...

I have a plastic bag with the snaps from the back seat (don't know where else to put them for now), gas funnel, tow eye, and some molle straps with a bag.

I should probably look into getting a recover strap and shackle. There aren't many trails around where I live but I've already driven down the beach and plan to do an easy trail or two in Central Texas in a few weeks. I want to be somewhat prepared.

And I wonder if Ford had some ideas for accessories for the molded foam inserts and either changed their mind or it something didn't work out. I know some are kind of generic but where I have the tow eye and gas funnel, it feels like they go right there.

Is this full size spare? Lid closes with no problem? How's that JBL sound?
Definitely turn tire over, good amount of storage space is not being used, if spare tire is in stock position.

Does anyone know what material the cargo tray is made of? Some sort of composite. I have been attempting to convert it to a useable tray or table you can fold out BUT it will NOT hold screws.

I stored my gas hose with the spare tire and had my gas on a cargo tray behind the Sport. I was on a trip and realized I had to empty the cargo area just to access the gas hose. I now store it in the console.

A bolt through the cargo tray with a big washer behind it would probably work. I believe it is just plastic with a rubberized coating.

I just got my Badlands so I haven't added anything to the trunk yet nor have I taken an in-depth look into the trunk but I gotta ask those people who have taken out the foam inserts, doesn't the tire move around or make noise when you drive?

EDIT: NVM. I just realized that you're replacing the foam inserts with emergency items so the tire should move around.

The spare tire is bolted down to the floor.
