No, have not had to tow it or haul it anywhere, i ride it to work just about every day when the weather is permitable. Occasional weekend road trips up into the mountains on it, but luckily we've had no need to load it up. My bike being about 120lbs heavier then your average grom I really...
You're good. It's just black permatex you can buy at any AutoZone. You will definitely need to apply it, the clips aren't enough to hold with how you'll have to Dremel the hole, plus this will keep water from entering in anywhere...
Thanks bro, yeah it was my first rodeo doing aaaanything like that so I was nervous. Just go slow and be patient, may i recommend (what I didn't do and should have) is try to mount the lights to the top of that plastic part so it's flush with the upper part of the grill, that way you don't...
yes it's running to a fuse in the engine bay fuse box, forgive me I don't remember which one as this was the trickiest part trying to figure out which fuse, and it was quite a while ago. Then the neg is running to a ground. So the are always on when the engine starts. But tbh I haven't had...
Yes I used a dremel tool to shape out some slots on that plastic grill panel, then permatex (autozone) to mount in and hold/weatherproof. They are actually hard wired to a ground, may run them to a switch eventually.
Well thank you, I have it pretty much all set to where I want, but after a good 6 months of running the basket I'm going to switch back to a rhino rack pioneer platform. The basket has been great but it really does not fit the amount of things I want up there.
low profile roof rack you'll be looking at about $1,000 there (yucca, rhino rack, yakima, spidernodrill). I got a 1.5 suspension from rough country gave it about a 1.75in raise $700. 1in wheel spacers $200. 245/65 AT tires will be another $800-$1000. Method Wheels were about $900 which gave...
So from my experience I only kept in low if I was going to be staying under 30mph. Which in this case I was. For the 1.5L you can engage it from a drive. At least I did. Basically it's just going to throttle your rpms and keep you from engaging higher gears to prevent spinning tires. I know...
Yeah we headed back out and it's been non stop for 10 hours. Knox is not equipped to plow roads everywhere. Several cars stuck but by that time mostly jeeps and trucks out. Have been pleasantly surprised by the BS and K02's
Sorry no pic because I felt bad for them. Knoxville here and we got hit with about 8in of snow today. Had to take a co worker home who was in a rwd car. They live up a steep hill into a steep drive. My BS in L gear crawled the hill and into the drive like a dream. There was a 4runner with a trd...
