Thanks, Dude. I thought so but wanted to make sure. I guess I'll have to pay the difference with full synthetic Weds at the dealer. I have two free Ford changes.

Blend. I switched to full synthetic with my first oil change and haven't looked back.

I thought Ford switched its recommendation to 5w-30...? (Not that there's anything wrong with 5w-20. I had used it for years on a previous truck.)

The 1.5 is 5w20. I'm sure I could go 5w30 in my area but I'll stick to the 5w20.

I have the 2.0 which uses 5w-30 so didn't occur to me about the 1.5. Further, my local dealership keeps making noises that they don't use 5w-20 anymore. That Ford went all-in on 5w-30 (which is why I made my initial comment). Now I can say, "say what?!?"

My BS is going to Ford service for an oil change tomorrow. I will ask if they can go 5w30.
