I'm in need of help. I've had my 2024 BS Heritage for 2.5 months. No problems. I got in it yesterday and it would not start. It said "no key detected ". No problem. I went and got my spare key. Said same thing. Changed batteries, same thing.
Did all of " the tricks". The key fob is not the problem. I read to check the RKE antenna connection. That it has had problems coming loose. Was told it's inside the rear back left panel. Took that apart. Did not see anything that looked like the RKE antenna. Uggg. I spent half the day trying to find videos or any info about this. Can anyone help me? I've been without for 3 days.
Thank you 😊

Have you tried contacting your dealer? This sounds like it should be covered under warranty.

Check my posts earlier about the issue back in 21-22. Still haven’t heard of a fix except to drop the fob in the tray when it occurs. Only an issue on some vehicles — my ‘21 being one of them.

I do have the trailer tow package. Where do I find the antenna connections in the back?
I saw this SSM but since you didn’t mention trailer tow package the info likely wouldn’t apply

also this info is for the full size Bronco which apparently has the RKE Module in a rear panel - that could be where you saw the info but I think that’s the full size not Bronco Sport

TSB Number: SSM 53642
NHTSA Number: 11017159
TSB Date: April 15, 2025
Date Added to File:April 23, 2025
Failing Component: Unknown Or Other

Summary:
Some 2024-2025 bronco vehicles equipped with a dealer installed trailer tow kit may exhibit a "no key detected" message displayed in the ipc. This may be due to the remote keyless entry (rke) antenna connection being left loose or disconnected during trailer tow kit installation. Verify that the vehicle is equipped with the trailer tow kit by checking the window sticker for the trailer tow kit option. If the vehicle was equipped with this dealer installed option, before performing normal diagnostics, inspect the rke antenna connections located behind the left/rear interior quarter panel. If they are loose or unplugged, re-secure the connector(s) and retest operation. If no loose or unplugged connections are found, refer to workshop manual (wsm), section 419-01 for normal diagnostics. If this vehicle does not have the dealer installed option, refer to the wsm, section 419-01 for normal diagnostics.

I tried the center console with the fobs, but that did nothing. I'm convinced it it's an remote key antenna that has come apart. But I do not know know where to find those antennas.

Not sure where you read about the RKE antenna connection and is “inside the rear back left panel”.
The keyfob module (with antenna) is around the center console but that’s likely something for a dealership to work on as the prior post advised

meanwhile try this procedure, the keyfob probably will start working normally again (model years ‘21 to ‘24 are same) …

I do have the trailer tow package. Where do I find the antenna connections in the back?
According to PTS, the antenna is here and seems easy to access:

You can't. I mean, you can, but you'd need to pay for access to Ford's PTS website. You're better off keeping your money in your pocket and just ask me if you need anything.

So I tore apart the front console under the phone charger and found that antenna. Nope! Everything fine there. Unplugged and replugged Everything. Still doesn't work. Is there another antenna under the driver's side back rear panel? I probably need to bring it to the dealership 😞
