If you could choose a new option/color...

Easy one. I'm not a big fan of interior creature comforts like heated seats or leather, etc but definitely upgrade tires/ wheels and added some rugged features to the exterior (See pic) so I have a base model and it has zero to do with $ ... BUT I'd DEFINITELY pay $$ for the ability to have purchased a base model WITH the 4 cylinder 2.0 larger engine ... but that isn't an option ... and not even an option on Big Bend or Outer Banks (?) ... crazy. Give it to us, Ford ?.

I think that having the 2.0 option in all trims would kill the purpose of the Badlands.
There are too many trims already. A BB with no extras is basically a base model with darker rear windows and white badging. BB just gives you the ability the add options.

Front camera ?

Cameras are nice but I like the sensors and beeps better. Can keep my eyes looking outside the car and just listen for the increase of the beeps. Best of both worlds.

Definitely not. The Badlands is comprised of many features. It was only because of demand in marketing that the Heritage did NOT come with the option but to sell the Heritage Limited Edition they did the larger engine. It's all about their making???. Has nothing to do with other trims and obviously not customer based driven. I have talked with so many others who want this option. My guess ... it will eventually happen but not now while they are able to act like the Badlands Club is the only club for the power turbo.

My '23 OBX is Cactus Gray with the black roof. I was wondering what it would look like if I had the hood painted black to match the top. A little masking on the top rear corner of the front fender, and it would be a continuous line.

I'd love a white top instead of black. Also would like room for larger tires. I'd like 16" wheels as an option for more rubber between me and the bumps.

Has anybody said auxiliary switches yet? Seems like you need to be fairly skilled with electrical to hook up something small like raptor lights. Or, an extremely proficient handyman, that I am not.

For everyone that wants a manual transmission, what made you get the sport over the full-sized bronco?

The manual FS Bronco was impossible to find without brutal dealer markups. When I found any, they were in a low trim. The greater length would have meant giving up most remaining workspace in my small garage. I ski and wanted to mount a ski rack fast. Easy on the BS. Lastly, the mpgs. Just drove my BL uphill and back to ski today, 3-1/2 hours. 26-28 mpg is amazing. Big one would be in the teens. This BS is a keeper … unless they put a manual in an upcoming model. And then just maybe.

I drove my F250 w/ a 6 speed as a daily for Yeats and until I got my BS, not my favorite for short distances

I just sold my manual BMW 328. Drove it daily for a decade before moving to CO. Doing anything uphill requires ground clearance and A/4WD. BMW had neither. But a Bronco Sport with a manual? Being able to use engine braking would be awesome when descending thousands of feet in elevation.

If a 4cyl would have been available for my 22 OBX, it would not have had a low speed vibration when cylinder deactivation “activated” and I would have not traded it for a 22 Mustang. (I know I could turn it off with Sport mode)
A manual transmission would have really been nice.

Once production finally meets demand for regular customers, it would be nice to see Ford build a work truck/commercial edition of the Bronco Sport. I've noticed that our local police department now has a fleet of Escapes for lighter duty work, and I think a stripped down Bronco Sport—think XL trim—would fill a niche pretty nicely.

I've noticed that our local police department now has a fleet of Escapes for lighter duty work, and I think a stripped down Bronco Sport—think XL trim—would fill a niche pretty nicely.
