Yep! I believe that feature started disappearing during the 2022 model year. I use CarPlay a lot and it's annoying to have to turn the knob just to see the temperature setting.
I also got no credit for the missing Wi-Fi hotspot.
But having lived with my Badlands for a year now, the most annoying "supply chain" omissions would have to be the rear camera washer and the temp displays on the knobs in the cabin.
I just ordered a case on eBay that included a manual for a 2014 E-Series van, for around $10. The contents were all shrink wrapped from the factory, so it was probably discarded from a fleet vehicle or something similar.
Thanks, this is very helpful because the parking management company clearly is unaware of this information. They instructed everyone to put it in the far upper corner of the driver's side. Fortunately I've affixed it with a little piece of packing tape so it can be moved around. I will try...
Our E-ZPass is mounted next to the bank of sensors behind the rearview mirror and has worked fine from day one. However, we use these stick-on windshield tags for entering and exiting our parking garage at home, and we've been having intermittent trouble with the one that permits exit from the...
There are some changes in paint color availability for the Maverick with two new colors, four deletions and a couple of colors that are now fleet only. One might speculate that since the Bronco Sport and the Maverick are built at the same plant, these changes might apply to the Bronco Sport as...
I've had a few people ask about it, but it feels like they're becoming a lot more common these days, as I've been seeing them far more frequently in the last six months or so than I did before.
I've been partial to this $10 titanium bottle opener that I keep on my keychain. I got tired of replacing those aluminum keychain bottle openers after they get all chewed up and worn out after a year or two, and this thing is nearly indestructible:
That's certainly a better result than they got with the new Dodge Hornet a couple of weeks ago! One of the tests really messed up or at the very least confused that car's electronics.
No near-death experiences for me recently *knock on wood* but commuting here in DC I see close calls every single day. I have to brake suddenly, swerve out of the way of other vehicles and/or lay on my horn daily. Drivers are absolutely insane around here and you constantly have to be on high...
The miles to empty reading on my Badlands is certainly pretty misleading at the moment. Yesterday it said 92 miles left before I drove 3.5 miles to work, and when I got home, it said 61 miles.
Once production finally meets demand for regular customers, it would be nice to see Ford build a work truck/commercial edition of the Bronco Sport. I've noticed that our local police department now has a fleet of Escapes for lighter duty work, and I think a stripped down Bronco Sport—think XL...
