Will they remove that banner on Forscan at the dealership? I don't want to have to buy a Windows laptop and the software just to get rid of that stupid banner.

Thanks,
No, the dealer does not use FORScan. They use FDRS and there is no way to do that with FDRS.

I also would like someone to try it to make sure it works on these vehicles. I don't see why it wouldn't, but I would still like for someone to try it first.

You can ask, but it's doubtful. It's that way for a reason, even if that reason only makes sense to Ford.

Not likely. FORSCAN is an aftermarket program. I'm sure that you can find an independent shop that uses it, the problem might be distance to you. Possibly a performance shop.

confirmed that this works on 2025+ APIM 720-02-02. Before:

After:
Good. That black box there is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen on a vehicle.

I’m trying to figure out what you changed in this block of coding? I have a 9… but what did you change it to?

sorry, i didn't document that well - i had 0 initially.

EDIT: I see you added the RCOD w/o Blackbox set. maybe it will work now that both options are set? I believe that's all that remains in my settings that i changed.

It is probably for safety reasons.

Interesting. To get this to work on the F150, it also required enabling cameras at speed in the IPMA. There's a 50/50 split view that can be enabled that's pretty cool, too.

Correction: It is already enabled in the IPMA on the trucks. Enabling cameras at speed in the IPMA was to fix an issue caused by an OTA for some trucks.

Also make this change to be able to use 50/50 view at speed:

Edit: This is what it looks like. Not sure how it would render in the wide horizontal screen, though.
