Ford to Produce Ranger Super Duty

OK, it’s not Bronco Sport news, but I figured folks here might be interested.

Ford has announced the introduction of a Ranger Super Duty in Australia, with a 10,000 lb tow capacity, 3.0 liter diesel, and three cab styles, along with cab/chassis availability.

No pricing as yet, but figure $55-60k base?

How interested would y’all be if it were available in the US?

Not at all interested. I would guess the price would be higher then 60K.

As I noted over at Ranger5g I'd be all over one in a minute if a true Ranger Super Duty came to the NA market. But if an Everest came here...? I'd be all over that in a nanosecond.

Not interested. My 2019 crew cab Ranger is just fine for me. If I need something bigger like to haul my horse trailer I can use my 2011 F-150.

Not really interested as I don’t have a real need for a pickup. Just as well, as the Aussie’s get a lot of great stuff that’ll never make it to the good ol’ USA.

The US is a weird market... they tend to kill or choke the small pickup category (3rd gen Ranger < 2011) and push everyone with mid-size pickup (Ranger 2019+) or full size (F-150).

Kei trucks are not welcome neither.

I think the Ranger Super Duty will cannibalize the sales of F-150 and up ... so that ain't happening.
