But then you wonât be able to charge up while driving on roads like theseHopefully their idea of more hybrids does come to pass. Iâm certainly interested in that technology for my next vehicle even though I canât/wonât go full EV. There are a lot of advantages to hybrids, though even then many traditionalists wonât like that much technology.
Interesting though that itâs really only taken a couple years where sales havenât materialized as fast as hoped to have an industry wide pullback on full electrification. It seems the early adopters have their Teslas & others are staying away.

The problem is that manufacturers were gunning for everyone to switch to electric without realizing that a significant portion of the population doesn't have a way to plug in their vehicle at home.Hopefully their idea of more hybrids does come to pass. You're still missing something though. A very significantly large swath of the population doesn't own their own home or lives in something like a condo complex where there is physically no way to get a charging station installed.I agree that charging at home is a big deal. Our manufacturer offered an installed charger if we bought from inventory instead of special ordering, and since we generate excess solar energy it was a no-brainer. I'm a little surprised chargers haven't become standard equipment on new home construction packages. If you do it then they are pretty cheap. .

I drove a dealer '22 model Mach e just like yours. It was a blast to drive. It made my wife scream and my son say "Dad! You need to slow down." It's still in the dealer's inventory. I'm sure he'd be open to all reasonable offers. He didn't invest in the additional equipment and investment to be an authorized EV dealer. Said he'd never get his money back. At least that was a good decision. The big issue is the resail value. I purchased a 2022 Mach E GT Performance Edition and the window sticker was 72K today the KBB Value is 27K I was fortunate enough to have Ford do an over the air update and screw my car and they did a buy back after a lemon law case was filed with the state of Georgia. The car was a blast to drive. I charged at home but range is a problem in Georgia. I would never buy another one because of the value dropping so fast.
I imagine there will be a Bose Frequency and Electromagnetic Suit to cancel out the charging affect on the human body (similar to how noise canceling headphones work)⊠am jokingImagine the rates of cancer and birth defects coming from those who consistently drive on these roads.
