Edited: as stated by Discount Tire in Post #15 ‘Falken Wildpeak A/T4W is an improvement from its predecessor (Wildpeak AT3w), although Wildpeak A/T4W is 7lbs heavier, Wildpeak A/T4W is a more durable tire for off road and its UTQGL has improved from 600AB (I think Discount Tire meant 600BA) (Wildpeak AT3w) to 660AA. It's newer technologies equate to better snow traction and longer life.’

My thoughts and corrections.

The A/T3W, 235/65/17, max pressure is not 51lbs, that would imply it's an XL load rated tire and it's not.

The A/T4W, 235/65/17, weight seems to be off or it's an XL load rated tire, contrary to the spec sheet, though it's possible that it's heavier because it's no longer a compromised OEM fitment!
I believe the 245/65/17, A/T4W, gained a couple of pounds vs the 3W, as it now weighs, 41.9lbs or the spec sheet is off.

I wonder when we might be able to actually get any of them? @Discount Tire or @Falken QA

Yes I thought there were some typos both in the A/T3W, 235/65/17 OEM part# 59000690 data I posted as well as in Falkens specification info for A/T4W, 235/65/17.

Btw… For the A/T3W, 235/65/17 OEM part# 59000690 I was not able to find the link to Falkens specifications for the OEM part# 59000690 so I posted data from “tires-easy” per the link I posted. And I posted the warning about … “Confirm all numbers are accurate before using this data. Links to the Specs are provided.” ?

If those specs are accurate, then it seems like a loss of many advantages that the tire offers as an all-purpose fit. I like the OEM in-betweeners. I was looking forward to being able to buy the same tires on the Sport again. My last car had unusual size so there wasn't a lot of options.

Damn. I'm due for a whole new set after only 32000 miles. I really liked the balance of onroad manners and offroad chops of the at3w that I don't mind the low mileage. I could probably squeeze another month out of them, but not 2+. They'll probably be racing slicks by April.

Keep an eye out for some takeoffs that people post or call a local tire shop and see what they have for some used tires. You could get some decent tires for cheap to float you until the the AT4 comes out if that's what you are set on.
