For those who have purchased the extended warranty, what is the best way to do this? My BSBL already has the 3 year warranty but I wasn't sure if it would be best to wait until my current warranty is about to expire. Also, is it better to purchase through the dealer? How much did you guys pay for your extended warranty? Thanks in advance

Purchase it through @Granger Ford. The prices go up each year on the plans so if you know you are going to purchase one its cheaper earlier. You can see the prices on their website and they have threads on this forum about it.

Best bet is to purchase a Ford ESP through one of the discount dealers like Granger, Flood, or Zeigler.

Ford increases the prices on October 1st so better to purchase before then. I bought mine through Granger at my time of purchase. The warrenty extends beyond the 36 months and 36k miles. Generally less expensive to purchase at time of purchase.

These 3 are typically competitive so it’s recommended to get online quotes from all 3 at same coverage and deductible to get apples to apples comparison however you may find like I did that one is less costly than another at a specific coverage point but can be more expensive than another at a different coverage point

Recommended to include these:
$100 Deductible,
FIRST DAY RENTAL COVERAGE,
CPCLIGHT COVERAGE (Interior/Exterior Lighting).

Ford ESP (Extended Service Plan):

1. Zeigler: use the online code PAYINFULL
2. Flood Ford,
3. Granger Ford.

That's precisely what I got from Granger, 10Y/100K. For my BS (2025 <12 months old), it came to $2920 ($2800 for the ESP, $50 for the rental, $70 for the lighting coverage). Preferable to pay once if your budget allows, saves on the extra fee for the finance option.

I debated on going $0 deductible, but I can always handle a $100 repair bill as needed. And with LED assemblies becoming more ridiculously expensive, even a single repair can potentially exceed $2K, so the $70 lighting add-on was a no-brainer.

Granger was super easy to work with (barely an inconvenience!), and communicated thoroughly and promptly.

I was able to get a price of $1895 for 7 years 100,000 $100 deductible with coverage for lights etc. Not too bad IMO
Good deal .. for those not aware the 7 years is from the purchase date of the vehicle so after the factory 3 yr 36k mile (whichever is first) warranty ends is 4 yrs up to 100k miles whichever comes first (7 years from vehicle purchase date, up to 100k on the odometer) (and purchasing the ESP within the factory warranty period provides some amount of overlapped coverage)

Interested in this topic, and plan to soon (pre oct 1) get an ESP, but apparently the wonderful state of florida has outlawed discount ESPs.
I anyone purchased an ESP from a dealer in florida, im interested in the pricing.
thanks!

Just curious why in the world with the State of Florida outlaw a discount ESP?

I’m not positive, but I think what they (and CA) are banning is the online sales from out of state, not the discount.

As others have said, buy it on-line w/credit card and give an address outside the state. You get the paperwork on-line, and no one knows when you go in for warranty work.
