Thank you !Why, yes I do. I keep the box for when the K&N needs to be cleaned. There is a 24 hr dry time, so I refit the OEM filter so I can drive. Looks like 33-3131 (PO11424623)

If by chance you over oil the filter, you may need to replace a MAP sensor. I have 327,000 miles from 3 vehicles and NO problemsUsing those filters that you have to clean and oil are one of the worst things you can do for your vehicle.
No actually it isn't. It's actually a benefit if you know what you're doing when it comes to cleaning and reoiling.Using those filters that you have to clean and oil are one of the worst things you can do for your vehicle.
Not only that but the benefit of a K&N filter is above 5K RPM.No actually it isn't. It's actually a benefit if you know what you're doing when it comes to cleaning and reoiling.
I’m not sure going above 5000 RPMs is a benefit for the engine!!!!Not only that but the benefit of a K&N filter is above 5K RPM.
they are more expensive, but in a lot of cases they are much much better. I went the fram route in my f350 and had an issue with the check engine light and everything. the mechanic showed me exactly why he recomeds ford aire filteres. he gave me a brand new frm and told me to twist it, it twisted very easy, then I tried a new ford one, it was much more ridgid. what happend with my truck was the extra flex in the aftermarket let it distort and pull into the air box and then it threw a bunch of codes.I was trying to stay away from the delership because the are normally more expensive.
