Engine air filter

I have a 2025 bronco sport big bend. I think someone was drunk when the made the manual for this thing. I have been trying to find an engine air filter and when I check my local parts stores and select my vehicle it shows they have them but they are square. The engine air filter for my model is rectangle. I was trying to stay away from the delership because the are normally more expensive.

It is likely that you have the newer MPC motor. My 2025 Badlands had a different air and oil filter than listed.

I put in a K&N filter and never looked back. They also show a rectangle on thr web, you could phone them and get answers on the square design.

I think i will have to phone them because maybe they dont even know. I wonder how many people just went in and bought the square one, got home and went "shit" lol

Ask @Frenchy906 … store manager for a NAPA auto parts store, link is for 2L but probably can get you the correct engine air filter part # for the 2025 1.5L

It was installed the first week, so I do not know. We usually keep our cars for 10 years and I prefer just buying one filter. The cleaning solution lasts for about 4 washings (about 200,000 miles)

Weird, when i went on the website and typed in that part number it only gave me the 2 litre option. I thought the 1.5 and 2l had 2 different sizes. I will get that one thanks.
